Rejected There's not much that we don't love about living in Bulgaria, but the sheer number of abandoned dogs, especially puppies, is often overwhelming.

🐶🙏🥰 MAX IS BACK!! 😍🐶🫶

We rehomed Max (previously called 'Ace') in the middle of November; you can look at the previous posts for more information about his origins and how he came to be rescued by us.

Despite being a beautiful boy, Max proved to be a little bit too talkative for his new owners 🗣🤦‍♀️😅, so he's looking for a new human who is happy to listen to his daily chatter 🤗.

He's absolutely great with people, children and other pets, but he will need someone who can spend time with him to show him the ropes 🙏.

If you think you could be 'the one' for Max then please message the page for more information... ❤❤❤

❤🤗MARLEY NEEDS HIS OWN FAMILY🥰🫶

This beautiful little boy was left with us in a box at our home in Bulgaria 🥲. He was covered in fleas and tics, and was absolutely terrified of everyone and everything 😭. He did have a sibling, but her lifeless body was on the road nearby, having been hit and killed by a car 😦.

So we took him in, and slowly but surely, he learnt to trust us and recovered from his early traumatic days. He is now between 6 and 7 months old, good with dogs and children, although he is not overly confident when he first meets new people. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped.

We brought him to the UK last month and he has been living in a household with other dogs with no issues. He is housetrained to a point, although still has the occasional accident, but this should be easily overcome with the correct training once in his new home.

Marley will be at Up in Smoke this weekend (16th & 17th December), should you wish to come and meet him. We ask for a donation to cover some of our costs and we can discuss this further if you are interested in giving this boy his forever home.

Thank you for supporting our mission to try and help these dogs get the life they deserve 🙏🐶❤️

It's so easy to get distracted by "stuff", thus forgetting why we actually do what we do. So here's a reminder...

This is Ace (now Max ❤️) leaving us to start a new life with his new family. There may well be teething troubles, but surely these are to be expected.

Max doesn't understand what we want him to do and how we'd like him to behave. So we have to teach him, and this takes time and effort. But his new family are happy to help him to learn, and we are so grateful to them for giving him this chance 🤗.

The reality is that if we hadn't rescued him, we would have had to drive past his lifeless body in the road, until such time as his carcass had been stripped bare by hungry wild animals. Or he would have been poisoned (antifreeze is commonly used) and his body thrown into the river 😢.

This is the reality and this is why we do what we do 🤗❤️

🐶👀❤ 'Ace' is looking for his forever family 🧐🫶😍

This beautiful boy was dumped at the side of the road near to our house in Bulgaria.

Not only is he incredibly handsome, he's confident, energetic and extremely friendly!! He spent some time at Up in Smoke over the weekend and greeted everyone with dog kisses and paws 😇😁 .

He's around 18 months old, fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered. He's good with other dogs and children, but will need a home where he gets regular exercise.

If you're interested in adopting this little beauty, or know of someone who might be, please get in touch 📞📱💻. We ask for a donation of £450 to cover the costs of transporting him from Bulgaria to the UK. Or come and say "hello" to him tomorrow (Monday) at Up in Smoke ❤️❤️❤️

🥰🫶🐶 ALFIE ❤️❤️❤️

This is Alfie, the 'nearly dead' pup in the previous post who was being protected by his big sister, Rocket. Alfie's story will feature on this page at some point in the future, but as you can see from this recent picture, he has made a good recovery.

I just wanted to clarify that Alfie is NOT being put up for adoption as he already has a forever home with us 😁🥰. Although we rehome many dogs, when you have been with a seriously ill dog for considerable time and nursed it back to health, it can be difficult to say goodbye 🥹, so sometimes we don't!!

Alfie says "thanks for the interest though and to everyone who has asked after him, but please adopt one of his siblings" 🙏🫶😍❤️

🧡💛💚THE 3 AMIGOS🐶🐶🐶

After an epic 1600 mile, 3 day journey, they finally arrived in the early hours of Monday morning to an extremely wet Manchester 🌧🌧🌧💦💧.

We brought them home and after much food, sleep and cuddles, they are now happy and ready to start thinking about finding a family to call their own.

I will do a profile tonight for each of them to give an insight into their individual personality traits, but I can say, hand on heart, that they are going to be the most amazing next member of your family 💯.

If you're interested in adopting then please get in touch to express your interest. We would encourage you to come and see them before seriously considering it as not all dogs go with all people. You are more than welcome to come to our home in Heysham at a mutually convenient time.

The donation that we ask for is to cover the cost of transporting them to the UK from Bulgaria and can be paid by installments if required.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions at all 🙏🫶

🥹❤ 🐶 When we were asked to rescue these little puppies, we initially said no as we were in the UK at that point . As time went on, it became apparent that their situation was going downhill fast and we agreed to help.

💙💗💗💙 Alfie, Rocket, Moon and Hugo are the puppies in the photo. Look closely and you will see that Rocket is cuddling her brother to protect him and keep him warm; Alfie was very close to death with hypothermia (amongst other things) 😥🥺

We went straight to the vets to be told, unsurprisingly, that all 4 puppies were poorly and that little Alfie was unlikely to survive 😢🥺. The vets promised that they would do all they could to save him and we left him in their care, figuring that this would be the last time we'd see him alive 😭😭😭

Alfie however had other ideas and miraculously, after a few days on a heat mat and many weeks of hardcore drugs, he began to improve and decided that he actually quite liked living with us and our many other doggos.

😎🌞 His 3 siblings were also thriving, and after a few months of living with us in the Bulgarian countryside, they are now ready to find their forever families in the UK. They are all in good health, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

🚐🚌🚚🛻 Currently making the long road trip from Bulgaria to the UK, they will be arriving in sunny Morecambe tomorrow (Sunday) and will be available to meet from Tuesday/Wednesday next week.

If you have a space in your heart/home for one of these little beauties then please get in touch. We ask for a donation of £440 which is what we pay to get them here. We don't ask or expect any money towards their care whilst with us, but we just ask that you love them with all your heart and never allow them to be unloved or uncared for 🫶🤗

Please contact us for more information, a no-obligation chat or to arrange to meet the puppies. Thank you for your continued support 🙏😇❤

I'm not going to post the original photo of the dead puppy, because it's upsetting and sad.. really sad 🥲. But this is the reality of what we deal with, and the reason why we try and help in some small way.

We ask for a donation of £450 to adopt a dog from us. It costs us close to £1000 per dog (vaccines, passport, vet, transport etc); so NO, it is not a business and it actually costs us a considerable amount to do what we do.

We are able to fund this ourselves, which is why we don't ask for donations for our general running costs. There are many organisations doing the same as us, who desperately need donations and can't survive without them. We ask people who want to donate to direct their money to one of the many rescue centres who are crying out for help.

Another point that is raised repeatedly is why we bring animals from abroad when the shelters in this country are full? Believe me, animals living in shelters in the UK are living their best lives compared to the way that animals are treated over here. Every day, we witness broken and dead dogs everywhere, and it is truly heart-breaking. Ultimately, it comes down to choice; you can choose to adopt a dog from a UK shelter or from an overseas rescue like us. Both have their pros and cons, and it is down to individuals to make that choice.

I hope I have clarified a few points for those asking. We will be back in the UK later this month with a selection of doggos, searching for their forever homes 🙏 (details coming soon)... ❤️❤️❤️

🥳🤩😁 BENJI HAS A FOREVER HOME 🤗🫶❤

We had so much interest in this beautiful boy and he has bagged himself the most amazing home!!! ❤❤❤

When we picked him up off the street, he was very broken, both physically and mentally; never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined the life that he now has to look forward to 🥹🥰.

Thank you to everyone who liked/shared his story, and his new family; we are indebted to you for helping to get Benji the happy ending that he so deserves 🤗❤

🤩🥳😍 Benji has arrived safe and sound in Morecambe 😁🥰🙏

It's a long old 1600 miles from Bulgaria to Morecambe 😅😲 and 2 days on the road; but Benji is here safe, sound and enjoying the home comforts that he's never known 🥹
All he needs now is a human to love him forever and his journey with us will be complete ❤.

He's the soppiest and most affectionate little doggo and he's looking forward to meeting you all from tomorrow onwards. If you've already expressed an interest then we'll be in touch; if not and you are interested in this beautiful boy then please message the page 🙏🫶

❤🐶🙏OUR BEAUTIFUL BENJI NEEDS A FOSTER FAMILY/FOREVER HOME 😇🥰😁

You may recognise this beautiful boy as he featured on a previous post. He has been with us for a while now as he was waiting to go to his new home in Bulgaria. Sadly, this didn't work out and so he is on his way to the UK right now, to find his forever family and his happy ever after 😍.

His full story is on here back in August, but briefly, we found him on the street in Bulgaria, with a badly infected neck injury, caused by having been chained up too tightly over a period of time. We picked him up, fixed him up and now we want to hook him up with someone who will give him the life and love that he deserves 😇🙏.

Benji is a medium sized dog, around 22kg, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and with a pet passport. The vets have estimated that he is around 3 years old.

He is incredibly loving and soppy most of the time, but he can also be energetic and full of life when the opportunity arises. He loves other dogs, children, strokes and pretty much any attention that he can get!!

We are looking for a permanent home for Benji, but would be happy to place him with someone as a temporary arrangement, prior to finding him his forever home.

If you are interested in temporarily fostering Benji, we will provide everything required and pay you a daily rate for the time that he is with you.

If you feel that you can give Benji a permanent home then we ask for a donation of £400, which partially covers the transport costs to get him from Bulgaria to the UK.

Benji arrives in the UK on Thursday, so if you are interested in either fostering or adopting him, please message the page for more information... ❤️❤️❤️

🎄🎅 I can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner and that the last lot of puppies that we rehomed have been with their new families for nearly 2 months now!! 🐶❤️🥳. I really want to write individual stories for them so that you can see where their journey took them; time is never on my side but I will endeavour to find time to do this at some point 🙏.

🤩😅 We've got loads of exciting things coming up; a brand new range of merchandise and paid fostering opportunities, so watch this space!! 👀

As always, thank you for supporting us... ❤️❤️❤️
