Team Paws BG is a fundraising team independent of any particular charity. The aim of the organisation is to offer fundraising and marketing initiatives where needed and to raise our own funds which we can distribute accordingly. Whilst supporting various rescue centers and/or foster homes, we want to allow small businesses a chance to sell goods through us, with a small percentage going to our fun

This is the handsome Leo he is 8 months old.
He is super friendly loves people and to play and ok with other dogs but food times he can be a little food orientated but knows the "no" word and goes back to his own bowl.
He currently measures 57cm shoulder to floor
Leo is currently booked for castration this week.
This lovely boy deserves a loving home as they all do, he would ideally be suited to people who love the outdoors ,he would also love a big garden to ramble round,hei s a dog that needs regular daily exercise .
He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and has EU passport and is able to travel to the uk now or find a loving home in Bulgaria.

Sorry for the delay, but what a weekend ,think my feet are just recovering.
Thank you to everyone who came to the auction on Saturday and to all the people placed bids beforehand and on the day , luckily the weather was kind to us.

Thank you Rosa for letting us hold the event there , and we are now planning next years auction already x

All the people who placed bids beforehand and have won the item,I have now messaged.
The auction day raised 1897 leva which will continue to help with the feeding and upkeep of the 32 mix of dogs and puppies in our care and help with any neutering costs . We have a total of 37 in total with our own dogs and are always full, its been a one out one in for nearly a year , many rescues will agree it is really hard to rehome at the moment, we are lucky to have 2 puppies going at the end of the month.
So please if you would share any of the pups I will putting on over the next I would be grateful.

Trip to the vets this morning to neuter Cyril and Alfie the pups who we took in a few months ago at Hotnitsa carboot, these 2 are 6 months old and not as big as a cocker spaniel ,still looking for a home.
The other dog is a female street dog who has had a couple of litters and we wouldn't get near her in the past, but thanks to a friend feeding her and gained her trust, to the point she is living in the garden she has now been neutered so no more puppies.

A late post , I am sorry, just to thank everyone who visited The Paws stall at hotnitsa carboot last sunday.
Thank you to lululand for her donations of the christmas runners and pictures for the auction and Ruth Vella for your donations also for the auction, really appreciated.

Also a massive thank you to Ruth & Dave Vella for collecting Teddy for his new owners Dan & Lizzie in the UK, Teddy is staying with Ruth till transport day, as you can see he is a lovely happy content chappy.
I am sure Simon wont mind me saying he got a little emotional at the hand over as he is one of the best natured pups we have ever had.
We do have 3 more siblings almost exactly the same , if anyone is tempted.❤

When you wake up and greeted with a lovely message and donation.
Thank you so much Sonny edwards @ Yulson Homes and everyone who purchased a property in August.
This will go towards food , a mix of 30 dogs & puppies (12 puppies still looking for homes) , prices have increased , almost doubled for a bag of dog food,and not all eat the same , so always a shopping list needed.
Thank you everyone who has supported us over the years and to those who have adopted, its not always easy and not always a happy ending ,but if one dog or puppy has a better life than being on the street and their tail is wagging, then its worth every minute❤

Female fluffy grey and male fluffy black and white kittens just over 12 weeks old.
Eating on their own and using a litter tray.
Mum is the fluffy white and grey and today being neutered , she is also looking for a home.

Busy couple of days Puppies all bathed ready for santa paws and snuggling by the fire yesterday. This morning dogs dinner cooking ready for tomorrow morning, all dogs blankets being washed again, washer is in overdrive today😂😂, in between all this juggling and cooking bits for ourselves, although tomorrow we are off to my besties for christmas dinner ❤ Just doggies presents to sort and the christmas boxes for them sent from my lovely friend in the uk 🐾🐕 Rugeley Welfare for Dogs 🐕🐾 Ruth Dewis and all her supporters again this year, thank you. We will post pics and video tomorrow morning of the chaos and excitement xx❤ my money is on the younger bassett having a meltdown in all the excitement😂😂😂

To everyone that has asked me to help in the last week and I have had to say "sorry we have one kennel left , reserved for a poorly mummy and pups" here are our 6 new editions, so puppies again this christmas 😂. These 6 tiny little bundles are no more than 5 weeks old, rescued from a diused house, the mummy was clipped by a car on a village road where cars fly up and down. The mummy has been unable to walk on her back leg and disappeared for a few days, but has since been looked after till her pups could be located and safe. Simon collected the pups yesterday and the lady feeding and helping her got her to the vets where she went to be neutered and leg looked at, but on investigating she had cancer of the uterus so this was removed and is now recovering and once better ,her leg will be next . She has to rest so will be with us once a bit better. Thank you to the lady who covered her vet bill . So 6 bundles of cuteness all looking for names, I will do a post on how many boys and how many girls and if anyone would like to name one for £10 (this will cover their first vaccine ) please message me xx

Just a quick update on the smallest pups, which are around 7 weeks, after sadly losing 2, these 6 are doing well with the lady looking after them, who also actually rescued them. Another couple of weeks and they will be up for adoption.

This is Arnie on of 6 siblings, 4 are exactly the same as him, still all looking for their forever homes. Arnie was born in October, he will be a little bigger than a labrador but not as big as a shepherd. Arnie is a happy chap , used to living in the house and with other dogs. This was his first time on a lead, so he will have no problems with walking. Christmas morning in the kitchen 😂❤❤❤❤

A massive thank you to Russ & Aileen for building and donating this kennel for the pups. We were originally going to put it outside but since juggling the Kennel space around again Simon decided to put it in inside. The lid was designed with a large overhang at the front for use outside, so Simon hasn't screwed it on as it was designed but it works perfectly fine tucked inside and they were in and out of it before he'd even finished putting it together❤

Our Story

Team Paws Bulgaria is a fully registered Bulgarian “Not for Profit Foundation”. We are not a rescue, however we do have a small team of dedicated foster carers who can step in and help with a few cases of abandoned dogs, in certain areas of Polski Trambesh & Byala regions.

We home foster and do our very best to re-home, both within Bulgaria and further afield across Europe. Whenever we can, we assist Bulgarian villagers to neuter their dogs and catch street dogs, also to neuter.

Our fundraising comes from events held at our Head Quarters, located in Peychinovo, where we have a small cafe, an arts and crafts gallery and a second hand shop. We also raise funds from sponsors, car boot sales and our wonderful followers donations.

We always need people who can give some time to help out, so please come and say hello and meet the team.
