Yesterday Elsie passed over the rainbow bridge😢.
Elsie was a lovely little dog who we rescued from Pavlikeni shelter when they first opened.

Elsie when we got her had had a few small cancer lumps removed, and over the last 36 months she has had 2 more removals of lumps but recently they had returned with aggression and the vet said it would be too much for her and also her age a factor , so we made her as comfortable as we could although she was still quite active but when she didnt eat her breakfast we knew it would soon be her time😢
Elsie will always hold a special place in my heart always one of the first to greet me on my return if I had been out .

Jules and I were only saying last week, how this would be our first Christmas, in just over 6 years, that we wouldn't have loads of puppies at Christmas....

Us and our big mouths🙈

Fortunately, this little lady is unaccompanied by siblings. She was pushed under the front gate of a friend of a friend, she was, we think, only just old enough to be away from her mum really, no more than 5 or 6 weeks, but she seems to be doing ok currently🙂

Given the time of year and her markings, which are various browns and an almost light apricot colour underneath, we've called her Figgy as she's rapidly becoming a little puddin'😂

Because she's still so young, she's currently camping out in our bedroom, so that we can feed her puppy milk on demand through the night. Hopefully this phase won't continue for too long though 🫣

This is the handsome Leo he is 8 months old.
He is super friendly loves people and to play and ok with other dogs but food times he can be a little food orientated but knows the "no" word and goes back to his own bowl.
He currently measures 57cm shoulder to floor
Leo is currently booked for castration this week.
This lovely boy deserves a loving home as they all do, he would ideally be suited to people who love the outdoors ,he would also love a big garden to ramble round,hei s a dog that needs regular daily exercise .
He is fully vaccinated, microchipped and has EU passport and is able to travel to the uk now or find a loving home in Bulgaria.

Sorry for the delay, but what a weekend ,think my feet are just recovering.
Thank you to everyone who came to the auction on Saturday and to all the people placed bids beforehand and on the day , luckily the weather was kind to us.

Thank you Rosa for letting us hold the event there , and we are now planning next years auction already x

All the people who placed bids beforehand and have won the item,I have now messaged.
The auction day raised 1897 leva which will continue to help with the feeding and upkeep of the 32 mix of dogs and puppies in our care and help with any neutering costs . We have a total of 37 in total with our own dogs and are always full, its been a one out one in for nearly a year , many rescues will agree it is really hard to rehome at the moment, we are lucky to have 2 puppies going at the end of the month.
So please if you would share any of the pups I will putting on over the next I would be grateful.

Thank you everyone who gave up their time to help on the day or helped on way or another , I really appreciated it.

Trip to the vets this morning to neuter Cyril and Alfie the pups who we took in a few months ago at Hotnitsa carboot, these 2 are 6 months old and not as big as a cocker spaniel ,still looking for a home.
The other dog is a female street dog who has had a couple of litters and we wouldn't get near her in the past, but thanks to a friend feeding her and gained her trust, to the point she is living in the garden she has now been neutered so no more puppies.
