Gong Gong, a 3 month old stray puppy living outside the compound of her Muslim rescuer house, was found with deep wounds and maggots in them. She was brought to us on 9/7/24 as an emergency case. Poor puppy was in a serious condition. She was surgically treated, and now she’s active and eating and drinking well. If it wasn’t for her rescuer, she might have died from septicaemia (blood poisoning by bacteria toxins causing life threatening infections). Gong Gong is warded until her wounds are completely healed. Her Muslim rescuer is worry that if Gong Gong is released back, she may be in danger again. If anyone is interested to adopt her and give her a better life, it will be great for Gong Gong. Her new adopter will not have to pay for her medical bill as it is taken care of by her compassionate rescuer. Here’s hoping Gong Gong will find a forever home with warmth and love soon!🐶❤️🏡
Young Woffy was a rescued puppy and was adopted recently. He had been treated for fleas and ticks previously. Yesterday, he was finally able to have a proper bath and turned from a dirty “grey” puppy to a clean creamy brown puppy 😄🐶
Six month old Morning, came under emergency last night. She had bleeding nose, difficult breathing, flu, yellowish mucus; all signs of feline respiratory disease. Morning was treated and prescribed medications to take at home. Thank you very much, Puan, for your appreciation in our services. Happy to see Morning responding well❤️🐈
Mummy! Mummy! I am hungry 😋🐱🐈⬛
Blacky
Blacky is stray in the neighbourhood. She was bitten by a stray dog which resulted with a large wound in her back area. Brought to Healthy Paws, her wound was treated soonest to prevent septicaemia (bacteria poisoning in the blood stream) which was life threatening. Blacky was warded and treated under her vet, Drh Ginni, for 15 days until she was discharged. She received home treatment (daily cleaning with antiseptic and application of antibacterial cream) by her rescuer. Blacky is also a fortunate cat who is able to survive, thanks to her kind hearted rescuer! Here’s wishing 💯% recovery soon, Blacky 🫶🏻😻🐈⬛
Oyen in Kuala Belait
“Oyen” was rescued off the streets and brought to our animal clinic. He was in a bad state that rescuers could not ignore and walk away. Oyen had a damaged left eye with maggots living in it (video) and his lower jaw was mildly fractured and teeth misaligned (slide 2) Veterinarians Dr Githa and Dr Barata treated and surgically removed the damaged eye and fixed back his jaw. His left eye was well sutured by Drh Barata and his jaw fixed with nylon by Drh Githa (slide 3). Dr Githa is a pro in this as she has successfully treated a couple of similar cases before. Oyen (not his real name) is being warded and under treatment until he is discharged. “Thank You” to his wonderful rescuers for not turning a blind eye to his plight and gave Oyen a chance to live 🫶🏻😻
Quin, the adorable stray 🐶😍
Little Momomg
On 2 Feb 2024, this tiny stray kitten was hit by a car. He suffered bleeding in his right ear and was unable to stand. Little one was warded for 1 night with infusion and medicated. After 24 hrs, little stray’s condition began to improve and he could be discharged to continue his recovery at his rescuer’s home. He was named Momong. Recently, Momong was back here for a follow up review with his vet, Drh Ginni. We are delighted Momong has recovered well and is now a happy and active kitten. Well done, kitty Momong, you are a tough cookie👍🏻🫶🏻😺
Puppy Mayu
A sad case of a stray puppy, found by Love Paw Sanctuary, almost dead and covered in fleas and ticks 😢 She was quickly brought to us. Drh Doni and assistants, removed the ticks and fleas, and gave her a medicated bath. She was treated with medications later in the afternoon. Little Puppy, named Mayu, is warded until her condition is stable to be fostered or adopted. Right now she’s eating well and Drh Doni is monitoring her for tick fever which is fatal. Please pray and send positive vibes for Mayu to be strong and recover quickly 🐶❤️
Cobra, a young Maine Coon, has a medical condition called Entropion in both of his eyes. His lower eyelids rolled (flipped over) into the eyes, causing the eyelid hairs to rub the surfaces of the eyes (corneas). It is painful condition too making Cobra squint and teary (Pic 1 before and after surgery)
To correct the condition, Drh Dede and his assistant did an Entropion surgery to remove excess eyelid skin and created eyelids to fit with his eyeballs.
(Video)
Cobra is feeling better after the surgery as there is no longer irritation in his eyes. He wears an E collar and is treated with antibiotic eye cream and painkiller as he recovers.
Get well soon, Cobra 🐈⬛❤️
Kuala Belait Kitten
A tiny stray kitten, named Siam was warded recently for an amputation the next day. Its bottom back left leg was already damaged (image 2) and began to have maggots after houseflies laid their eggs in the open wound. Image 3 shows the surgical wound, performed by Drh Ginni and her assistants.
By day 5 after the surgery, the wound has closed up well and Little Siam could be discharged with take home medications. Little Siam is so tiny that an improvised E-collar had to be made from a thick plastic material to prevent him from disturbing the wound and it’s stitches. Little Siam is all good now🫶🏻🐱🐾

BSH Luna, had given birth to 1 kitten at home. Two days later, her family was surprised that her abdomen was still big so Luna was brought for a vet check. Turned out, she had kittens stuck inside the birth canal causing difficult or obstructed labour (called dystocia). A caesarean and spay surgery was performed. Sadly, all remaining six babies did not survive.
First video taken 1 day after her surgery. Second video taken on the day of surgery. It was sad Luna lost her babies but her life is more important as she still as a baby to nurse at home. Speedy recovery, Luna🫶🏻😻🐈⬛❤️

This is four yr old Neng. She did not have appetite and felt pain when her abdomen was touched. From the ultrasound, she was then diagnosed as having ovarian cyst and pyometra. She was immediately warded and a complete ovariohysterectomy, (spay) was performed on her the very next morning. A couple of days later, Neng got back her appetite and began to recover fully from her illness👏🏻😻…❤️from Healthy 🐾
