Dogs need their nails clipped and filed on a regular basis, usually every 3 to 4 weeks🐶✨

It is not uncommon for dog owners to wait too long between nail clipping🙋

Overdue nails can raise health issues. Extended growth can result in painful ingrown nails😰❗

Elongated nails affect the comfort and health of dogs. Some dogs will find it difficult to place their full body weight on their feet with discomfort from elongated nails. As a result these dogs develop sore feet, legs and hips and overall discomfort, and the simple act of just walking can be a painful experience for them😔

Wash any bedding your pet uses once a week💧 Add an extra rinse cycle to make sure all pet hair is removed from the inside of your washing machine💫

You can air-dry your pet’s bed, but if you choose to throw it in the dryer, make sure you clean the lint filter halfway through the cycle🐾

🔻A freshly-cleaned lint trap will be able to catch more pet hair as the drying continues.

Vaccinating your puppy is one of the most important things you should do in your first few weeks as a dog owner💞

Regular vaccinations help puppies grow into dogs 🐶✨ who remain free of infectious diseases, and also prevents them from passing nasty diseases on to other animals in the local area.

Puppies are usually vaccinated at eight and ten weeks (although they can be vaccinated as early as four-six weeks of age) with the second dose usually being given two to four weeks later 👌 Speak to your vet about the best timings👩‍⚕️

🔸Your puppy will then require a booster vaccination at 6 or 12 months of age. As your puppy grows into an adult dog it's important to ensure you visit your vet and keep your dogs vaccinations up to date😊

🐶 Don’t Forget Exercise: regular exercise will keep your pup, and her/his coat, in great shape.

🐶 Brush, Brush, Brush: Regular brushing helps keep tangles to a minimum.

🐶 Consider Using Oils: Applying topical oils can help your pup’s coat stay well moisturized in between grooming appointments and may also help reduce skin irritations.

🐶 Don’t Over or Under Bathe: A regular bath can help your dog’s coat stay healthy in between grooming appointments, just make sure you’re using the right products and not overdoing it.
