After 10 days away from Brazil, I am finally heading back home. I had the opportunity to attend the All Nations Cup in Aachen and visit a few stud farms in Belgium, where I was thrilled to reconnect with my beloved RFI Unique, residing at Jaden Arabians.
Every show and stud farm I visit is always a valuable learning experience. During these days between Aachen and Belgium, I was fortunate to see some of the finest Arabian horses in the world. Among all the exceptional horses I admired, one, in particular, moved me deeply: the beautiful DURRAT ALBIDAYER, daughter of Jyar Meia Lua and A Vision MI, bred and owned by Albidayer Stud. Durrat is a very correct filly, beautiful, feminine, and blessed with an incredible presence. Undoubtedly, she was a standout for many people, and for me, she certainly was.
Although I strive to remain impartial, it’s impossible not feel honored and proud to see another granddaughter of my beloved RFI Maktub of such quality. Of course, the other horses in her pedigree are also worthy of praise, but it is truly thrilling to witness the consistent transmission of beauty and quality from the Maktub lineage across generations.
During this trip, I also had the pleasure of seeing other gorgeous daughters of Jyar, now more mature, and once again, I was impressed by the exceptional influence this sire has had. RFI Farid, Quasim CRH, and Jyar Meia Lua are among the best sons of Maktub, all of whom honor their sire’s remarkable legacy.
Congratulations to Albidayer Stud and Ferdinand Huemer for the outstanding work.
