I've seen a few posts about taking blood from peripherals vessels in cats, advising to remove the syringe plunger to prevent pressure on the vessel.
I tried it today and wow!
Thank you to all who shared this trick because it worked a treat!! 🩺🐾😻
P.s. I placed an IVC to prevent trauma as it was so slow flowing. I don't usually use winged IV's as I don't like them but this was the only one to hand for a quick blood sample.
