We are a small veterinary clinic offering basic preventative animal care (vaccinations, spays, neuters), comprehensive wellness exam sick visits and hospitalization for dogs at this time. Unfortunately due to Dr. Johnsons allergies to cats, feline visits have been discontinued. Our office hours Mon- Wed & Fri start at 8:30 AM -4:30 pm and Thurs and Sat 8:30AM to 12 noon. We refer all xrays to clinics with radiology accommodations and more complex blood work to outside labs, but we do perform in house Complete Blood Counts, Comprehensive Chemistry panels, heartworm, tick fever, f***l and parvo tests. We have limited emergency services however we try to accomodate emergencies as best as possible. Our emergency contact is 809-8782, and all emergency calls require a $200 service fee at the time of service notwithstanding additional fees. At this time we are trying to promote a sense of responsible pet ownership, while also helping to eliminate the major issue of strays by (spaying and neutering) in the Bahamas. Help us along with other local animal welfare organizations to make the Bahamas a beautiful country free of stray animals, with a minimum number of preventable diseases by doing the right thing and having your pet cared for regularly.
