Sweet, snuggly, and oh-so-lovable, Salem is ready to find her forever family!🥰

This precious pup is part of the Halloween litter. Tragically, their mom was hit by a car when the puppies were just 4 weeks old, leaving them unable to survive on their own. Thankfully, they were brought to us on Halloween, and Salem has been thriving at PPP and now in foster care ever since.

We’re reintroducing Tokaj because we can’t believe this sweet boy hasn’t had a single application yet!

What is to stop all airlines doing this? made their own pet carriers that were able to attach to the seat on the plane.

They made them in different sizes for different dogs so larger dogs could travel too (weight limit was 12kg). The carrier sat on the seat, it was fully enclosed so fur didn’t fly around and the seat was covered with a seat protector.

Having the carrier on the seat meant that the dog wasn’t squashed down under the seat in front. It was securely fastened to the seat with a seatbelt and you were sitting beside each other.

If a local, low cost airline can do this, how come these big airlines can’t? It’s not really rocket science is it?

These particular flights were designated pet flights and they flew many pets on board at the same time, but you could fly without a pet if you wanted to.

It would be so easy even to just have 1 designated pet seat like this per aircraft on all major airlines.

Come on .japan let’s move into the 21st century and stop making animals fly like baggage!

Help Coral heal from an unimaginable past🙏

💔Coral’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. When we found her in Eleuthera, Bahamas she was struggling to survive with a severed leg—a clean cut that suggests this wasn’t an accident. Sadly, in the Bahamas, we see far too many cases of human-inflicted injuries, often involving machetes. The thought of what Coral endured is gut-wrenching, but her spirit remains unbroken.

She’s safe now, but her journey to recovery is far from over. Coral needs an amputation to properly clean the wound and ensure she can live a pain-free life as a healthy tripod. All of her care will be handled by Lawrence Park Animal Hospital, but what she needs most right now is a quiet, loving foster home to help her recover physically and emotionally.

▪️A calm and nurturing home to help her feel safe. Kids and other dogs are okay as long as they are quiet and calm.
▪️Availability to bring her to her vet appointments at Lawrence Park Animal Hospital.

Meet Eloise – our First Pup of 2025!🐾

Eloise is a 4-month-old sweetheart who’s already stealing hearts in her foster home in Guelph, Ontario. Found at a clinic in Eleuthera alongside her half-siblings, Philip and Vivian, Eloise is adjusting beautifully to her new surroundings and showing her loving personality more each day.

🐶 Warming up to other dogs – she’s still getting used to meeting new friends but is making great progress.
💤 Crate training is going well – she settles down nicely after being tucked in.

Meet Keanu🐾

Keanu is being fostered in Kitchener, ON while he patiently waits for his perfect forever home.

This sweet adventurer was found during a spay and neuter clinic. While his siblings were found wandering the streets and under a house, Keanu’s curious spirit led him all the way to a shipping yard—where danger was just around the corner. Thankfully, our rescue team and our friends at BAARK stepped in to ensure safety for him and his siblings and a journey to a loving home.❤️

These six amazing dogs have been waiting so long for their chance to shine, watching their younger friends find homes for the holidays and wondering when it will be their turn.

This sweet 4.5-month-old pup was found as a tiny baby with his sister Vivian while we were helping at a spay and neuter clinic in Eleuthera. After starting his journey with dedicated volunteers, he’s now in Canada being fostered in Waterloo, ON, while waiting for his forever home! 🇨🇦❤️

Meet Vivian🐾

…or as we lovingly call her: Viv, Vivi Girl, or Sweet Baby Cake✨💖

Vivian was found during our spay and neuter clinic in Eleuthera with our friends at Baark, and she instantly stole our hearts! 💕 Her tail never stopped wagging, and she was always ready for snuggles.

Since arriving in Canada, Vivi has adjusted beautifully! She’s a quick learner who:
✅Loves walks (unless it’s windy—then she’s all about cozy indoor vibes 🍂🛋️)
✅Adores fresh snow—she’s a little snow hopper❄️
✅Is crate trained and sleeps like a champ💤
✅Has nailed potty training—after a few early accidents, she now goes outside right away like a pro👏

Vivian is still the cuddle queen we fell in love with 🥰. She loves playing with her dog friends but is also perfectly happy on her own.

At 4.5 months old, she’s spayed, fully vetted, and ready to bring her sweetness to a forever home! 🏡♥️

It’s #GivingTuesday, and while we planned to share Coral’s fundraiser today, something more urgent has come up... Mama Clair’s washing machine at PPP has officially broken down😩. With over 40 pups and dogs under her care, you can imagine how much laundry piles up every single day. Clean bedding and towels are essential for keeping the pups happy and healthy!🧺♥️ 🙏If anyone in Nassau has a gently used washing machine they’d like to donate—or if you’d like to contribute toward purchasing a new one—we would be forever grateful.
