How painful it is to find a lifeless body floating on the water? 😢

We know the agony, and today we're sharing some of the reasons why your fish may be taking pieces out of each other;

1️⃣ Some fish species are territorial and may defend their space aggressively, especially if they feel their territory is being invaded by another fish.

✅ Know your fish! Try to make sure the fish you have play well together.
✅ Create hiding spaces by adding ornaments.

2️⃣ A more dominant fish in schools of fish may establish hierarchy by biting
✅ Try to have both large and small fish in your tank to balance hierarchy.

3️⃣ Some fish get very aggressive during mating, and they definitely bite
✅ Try separating the mating pair until mating season is over. Introduce plants as hiding places.

4️⃣ Stressful conditions can lead to aggression. Overcrowding, unhealthy tank parameters etc. will cause stress.
✅ Regularly maintain your tank, have a good water filter and don't put too many fish in a tank!
