When we post and say "NO CATS" and they are a puppy, it's for a reason.

A hunter will hunt, a herder will herd, a retriever will retrieve. Some dog breeds were bred for working and training does not untrain what their genetics and instincts are. Love will not fix all problems sadly.

So we take precautions, we home responsibly. We think of YOUR current animals. Please don't verbally attack us when you're not getting something you want even though you're prepared to put your current animals at risk, we are not prepared to make their life uncomfortable, a challenge or high risk. It's really not fair.

Yes, we are strict. Yes, we might upset or dissapoint people, but one thing is for sure - we do our best every single day to match you with a forever companion, not one that is cute to have and later to be returned for chasing cats.

We take advice from behaviourists, people who have been working with dogs and certain breeds for 20-30 years. We will never adopt for the sake of an adoption. It's a forever home!❤️
