Corozal Animal Welfare Advocates - CAWA appreciates everyone who loves animals! We appreciate everyone who supports us! And we appreciate our volunteers who will be making our annual Spay/Neuter Clinic a success!

That is why we are hoping to reward them with yummy sweet treats while they help the vets and vet techs, talk with pet parents, care for doggies and kitties after surgery, and so much more!

So, do you have baking skills? Can you make killer cookies? Delectable donuts? Heavenly cupcakes? Luscious brownies? Would you be willing to make a batch, or two, for our wonderful volunteers?

If so, send me a message with what you will make, how much/many, and your email. We would prefer if you could deliver to Ranchito Community Center on 22 Jan 2025, 9am-11am, but, if you need to make arrangements for pick-up, we can likely arrange something!

If you have any laying around you no longer use, we would love to have them! You may bring to La Piccola Pizzeria on Consejo Rd, where we have a drop box for collection.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Annual Spay/Neuter Clinic, please feel free to message me with your phone number, email address and availability.

22 Jan will be for set-up. It will start at 9:00 AM at the Ranchito Community Center. We will be doing general clean-up and setting up tables, chairs and other supplies. We expect it to last about 3 hours...ish.

23 and 24 Jan will be two shifts: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM. You are welcome to stay the entire day! The end time of the afternoon shift is subject to change, depending on surgeries and animal recovery, so that shift may require flexibility.

On 24 Jan, we will need help cleaning up the Community Center after the clinic is complete.

This is an amazing service provided to pet owners and their pets and to be a part of it...is truly heart-warming. I hope you will join us!

are helping to rehome a dog. He is about 2 years old, neutered, UTD on shots and very chill and weighs in at a svelte 35-40lbs. He is low-maintenance but does enjoy a good skritch on his head or sweet-talk to make him feel like the good boy that he is. He is accustomed to being an outdoor boy, but wouldn't mind spending his sleeping hours on the porch...or even inside. He is good with other dogs and all people. He is indifferent to cats. It is preferred he go to a home with a fully fenced yard where he is safely contained but has ample room to "dog" around the grounds. He is being rehomed because his people will be traveling back and forth between Belize and N. America. This dog is quiet, content with the easy life and wants nothing more than to know a loving family and be their faithful, furry companion. If you, or anyone you know might be interested in adopting him, please let me know and a meet and greet can be arranged!

If you see an injured animal please take them to the Veterinarian. Stop turning a blind eye. It Takes a Village Thank you
