I want to use this platform to make it know that I've recently been receiving far too many sick pets (puppies and older dogs in particular), who haven't been or only partially vaccinated. I realize that perhaps I'm alone in this awareness campaign, but when you see puppies passing away from something seemingly as simple as not being dewormed adequately, or succumbing to the acute symptoms of parvovirus or distemper, just to mention two of the prevalent viral diseases in our midst at this time, then I realize that something is profoundly wrong.. it's been wrong for sometime now, but perhaps many don't really care nor want to talk about this matter at hand.. when people come into the clinic and say they DIDN'T KNOW that their sick pets needed to be vaccinated or dewormed, then I realize that here within lies a serious issue that needs to be addressed.. It is also evident that there is a growing tendency for pet owners to want to do their own vaccination or deworming. It's perhaps a tendency that won't be curbed anytime soon. What I would advise is that you don't compromise your pets health and wellbeing without being properly informed of the proper preventive care protocols that must be adhered to in order to not only safeguard your pets health, but your investment..
in sinopsis Im pleading to all pet owners to please take your pets to your veterinarian of choice to get them professionally examined and attended to, so that such preventive care can be given to your pet.. Many think that when they purchase the vaccines or dewormer from these stores and administer it themselves they are saving, but history has proven that such notion is most inadequate in most instances.. when the pets get sick the amounting bills become exceeding unbearable and in most cases unaffordable. Let's do this the right way. As the old adage goes "Prevention is Better than Cure". Remember Healthy Pets are always Happy Pets..
