Save the date!

Spaying/neutering your pet is one of the best things you can do for your pet (besides loving him/her) and your community! Help us reduce pet overpopulation in Corozal!

Registration starts at 7AM each day. Cost: $10 per pet- includes spay or neuter and 5-in-1 vaccine.

Each pet MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older; one pet per adult, no exceptions.

Owner MUST be present at clinic at all times. Pet MUST be in good health.

First come, first served, as there is limited availability.

Approximately 65 pets will be spayed or neutered each day.

Please bathe your pet the night prior to clinic, to remove fleas and ticks.

Puppies and kittens MUST be at LEAST 4 months old.

Free pet training for owners, while you wait.

Donations accepted and appreciated.

What Happens When You Bottle Feed a Calf?🐮

If you've ever seen a calf nursing 🍼 from its mama out in the field, you may have noticed them head-butting her udder. This is totally normal! It helps stimulate more milk 🍼 for the hungry calf, and it doesn’t hurt the mama cow one bit.🐄

When you bottle feed a calf, they still have that same instinct. They don’t realize that head-butting the bottle won’t make the milk flow any faster!

Here’s a fun fact: as the calf drinks from the bottle 🍼, its tail starts to rise little by little. Once they’re full and satisfied, they’ll wag their tail just like a happy puppy!

When do you stop bottle feeding a calf?
Around 3 months old. At that point, the calf won't need the bottle anymore. The calf will also be able to join the other calves in the pasture and live the full cow life!,🤠🐮🐄🍼
