I can’t express how important it is to teach your dog not to run out the front door when it’s opened! Teaching your dog to wait can save their life. Here is an example of my son telling Luna to wait while he gets the groceries. If you need help teaching this to your dog, reach out, I make house calls. I can show you in just one session!
What wierd things does your dog do?
I’ll start…Luna bites her nails!! She spends hours doing it, bonus….never have to get them trimmed
Beckett time to eat
This is how Beckett tells me it’s dinner time!
When I first got Beckett he was afraid of so many things. The vacuum was a big one. We’ve been working on re-association and now he isn’t afraid and actually thinks it’s a toy! Re-training is always possible, you just need to put in the work!
Hope your day was as good as theirs! They haven't moved in 2 hours. Little love bugs 🥰
Teaching your dog “leave it” is so important. We’ve all accidentally dropped food on the floor.
Being a good owner and keeping our 4-legged friends safe is essential for their well being. There are several “human” foods that are toxic and even DEADLY for our dogs.
With so much information out there it’s sometimes hard to really understand which ones are safe and which are dangerous for your dog.
Here are the TOP foods to remember to keep away from your pup...
Avocado (the skin and seed)
Caffeine/ Alcohol
Chocolate (the darker the chocolate the more toxic)
Grapes/Raisins
Salt (including salted chips, popcorn, nuts, crackers, etc)
uncooked dough
onion/garlic/chives
seeds from apples, apricots, cheeries, peaches, plums
uncooked potatoes (cooked is fine – sweet potato being the better option
What toy does your dog go nuts over? Lets see!!! Luna's favorite toy... the hose water...always entertaining!
