Hey Everyone! I've decided it's time for a long overdue "meet-the-creator" post.

My name is Tina, and I am the artist behind all things Pine Addict.
I live in the rural town of Acton ON with my incredible husband and our furbabies Phoebe, Piper and Paisley.

I've been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, painting, drawing and dabbling in crafts of all kinds throughout my life.

Like most things in my life, my desire to wood-burn was inspired by my love of horses; as a kid, I knew a local artist who created beautiful wooden signs with captivating custom portraits. Most owners had purchased one at the barn I was riding at and proudly displayed it on the horse's stalls. This artist has since retired but had this way of recreating the horse's expression perfectly, you could feel their personality through her portraits; It always left me in awe. Every little girl dreams of a pony of her own, but this little girl didn't only want a pony; she wanted one of these signs, too!

So, fast forward to the pandemic, I started to take the craft of pyrography more seriously. I was (and still am) passionate about providing affordable wooden pet portraits for all pets so that people can celebrate their furbabies and experience the same joy that I had then.

That quickly turned into dabbling in everything wood burning and has paved the way for the art I've created. When I am not at the barn or frolicking in a forest somewhere, I am at home, getting creative and determined to ignite joy with my art.

Thank you for being a part of that journey and following me as I grow as an artist. I am so grateful.
