Onyx and I took a trip down to Madison, Ohio this past weekend and picked up the last couple points she needed for her American Championship!

She’s now AM CH Seafever’s I Wanna Rock! (Immy x Victor @ 14 months)

COME JOIN US!!

The 2025 Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada National Specialty is taking place this September in Jerseyville, Ontario. Interested in the breed? Want to come and meet some breeders and "talk Newf"? This is the event to come and see us! I will have a number of my guys there and spectators are more than welcome to come and hang out for the day, watch the show, and pet some Newfs!

We launched the official website today, which fills you in on all the details! This is the largest Newfoundland breed dog show in Canada this year, so don't miss it!

 The Central Ontario Newfoundland Dog Club is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2025 Newfoundland Dog Club of Canada National Specialty in conjunction with the Oakville Kennel Club (OKC) Dog Show.

We had some great wins last weekend at the Kalamazoo, MI show! The GLNC had a fabulous Regional on the Sunday and supported entries the other days.

We came home with some big wins!

Seafever’s I Wanna Rock! “Onyx” (Immy x Victor) took Best of Winners for a 5 point major. She now only needs 2 more points for her American Championship (kicking myself for not getting a photo of her win)

Seafever’s Grape Expectations “Pinot” (Jetty x Gary) took RWD on the Friday and followed that up with two Winners Dog on Saturday and Sunday for two 5 point majors as well as BOS in Sweeps! He was the youngest entered!

Also need to do a shout out to Gary’s Daughter, Top Shelfs I Drink Alone “Georgie” on her Regional Best of Winners and Best in Sweeps for a 5 point major as well! Georgie was only entered on the Sunday.

I am so incredibly proud of these promising youngsters!

It’s been too long since we’ve shared Seafever news!

Onyx and Pinot have been busy showing the last few months and they are having fun learning the ropes!

Onyx and Gary headed to Rhode Island for the NCA National and came home with some lovely rosettes. Gary picked up his Top 20 rosettes and Onyx won 2nd in her Sweeps class and 1st in her regular class.

This past weekend Pinot also made his dog show debut picking up a Best Baby Puppy in Show! We’ll be headed to Kalamazoo, MI next!

BURRATA UPDATE:

I am thrilled to report that Burrata has found her home!! She will have two new Newf siblings, one of which is a Seafever Newf!

It just so happens that Burrata is hanging out with a friend of mine this week that is a professional photographer! Just love these photos she has captured.

Miss Burrata has spent the last few days at a friend’s house and she is doing amazing! I cannot believe this girl hasn’t found her home yet!

She has been introduced to cats, kiddos, and other dogs and has been great around all three. She seems to be especially calm and sweet around children and loves playing with her dog friend Eleanor. We really feel she needs a dog friend as we find she likes to follow the lead of the older dogs. Young children are also not a problem based on how respectful she is around little people.

Miss Onyx picked up another major this past weekend at the PONC Regional on Saturday going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 4pts. I love this show! The Club puts on such a great Regional with fabulous prizes and we always have ourselves a fun time. This show means a lot to me because it's where Gary finished his CH and took two Regional wins and two group placements. Was so pleased to have Onyx bring home some rosettes this year too. She also won us two cooler bags, a sun visor for the van, and a new box fan. 🙂

Miss Burrata has been hanging out with us here at Seafever waiting on her heart recheck and she is now ready to go!

This girl is a total character. She’s not much of a couch potato and needs a family that will keep her busy. She needs a fun, confident, well adjsuted four legged friend to show her the ropes and keep her entertained. As such, we really want her to go to someone that has another dog.
