Join us for a great cause! 💙If you are bringing your dog for the photo booth, please contact us to book a time slot. Entry for those attending with dogs will be $25, this includes 4 professionally done photos and one entry for the raffle prize. Payment and booking must be done prior to July 13th. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at the event for $5 cash each, all proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Acton Food Share. Please email us for further details. Those wishing to attend without their dog are welcome to join us from 2:00pm-2:30pm during the dog free period to tour the facility, bring donations, and buy raffle tickets. A non perishable food item is required for entry. 🥰 Huge thank you to Maddy who will be our photographer for the day and for providing the beautiful raffle prize. 😍

With the weather as warm as it is, why not try cooling off with one of Lucy's favourite acupuncture snacks? ☀🌊 Freezing broth, or peanut butter, or yogurt, and more to create a "pupsicle" is a great option to keep your dog busy and chilled during the summer. 💙

How Do I Know My Pet is in Pain? 🐶🐱 We see our pets every single day, it is hard to notice subtle changes that can be signs of pain. Look out for these signs: changes in behavior, vocalization, altered eating/drinking habits, lethargy, limping, excessive grooming, changes in posture, panting, restlessness, changes in eyes, and increased heart rate. If you notice any of these, consult your vet. Early detection and management through rehab whether it is injury or pain due to ageing can make a huge difference! 🩺❤️

Your pets don't have to miss out on the things they love just because they are getting older. From walks, to getting in the car, to getting on the bed, and so much more, there are assistive devices that can help. Carts, strollers, harnesses, steps, or even yoga mats can make a huge difference in your senior pets life. Get them back to doing what they love, even if it may look a little different. 💙

Echo is probably one of the hardest pups around here to get a clear photo of, simply because she is always on the go! 🥰😆 Whether it is snacks or toys she is laser focused, on everything but the camera. 💙 While she was coming for weekly maintenance sessions we did say goodbye for the summer where she will be spending her days splashing in any body of water she can find. ☀🌊 We are looking forward to seeing her again at the end of the season. We will keep your ducks and treats safe until then.😉

Leave it to Frankie to "try" and fit herself in the tiniest bed. 😆💙 She did absolutely nail it though, tail in and everything! Not only does she look absolutely adorable, but she is as snug as a bug. 🥰 After a stumble during her agility class she was feeling quite sore. With some love and laser she is getting back to her silly and sweet self and will be back with a vengeance for her next class. 🐶💙

We can never have enough Remy on our page! 🥰 When he is not eating all of our treats or stealing our hearts he is hard at work staying in shape. The underwater treadmill is a great low impact activity that helps Remy maintain/build muscle, increase mobility, and improve endurance. ☀ We love our seniors here at Blue Springs!
