Highlights include:
Kristen Hillier and Quintissential WF won a 1.35m class
Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot were 2nd in the 7 year olds, and 4th and 7th in the 1.25m.
Syd Hewins and WKM CC had some good rounds including a 6th in the 1.15m.
Annika Vels and WKM Betty Boop were 3rd in the 1.10m Jr/Am Classic
Erin Davis and WKM Catalina earned a 2nd and two 6ths in the adult amateurs. Catalina also completed her first derby placing 5th, and was 6th in the hunter classic.
Cay Parnoja and Choumi des Vergers Z were 6th and 8th in the 1.10 Jr/Am jumpers.
Emily Lawrence and Estandar were 3rd in the adult amateurs, and 5th in the Adult medal.

Recapping a wonderful two weeks at Palgrave!

Erin Davis and WKM Catalina were 3rd in the Grand Prix Adult Am Medal, and 5th in the 3ft Working Hunters during week 1. Week 2 they played in the jumper ring earning a 5th in the .9m! Well done-a 3 ring horse in the making🦄

Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot were 3rd and 6th in each weeks $5000 1.25m. ✈️

Syd Hewins and WKM CC were 7th in their first class back together in the 1.15m. Special thanks to Peter Gisborn for taking the reins on CC for the first half of the season for us. 🙏🏻

Annika Vels and WKM Betty Boop were 4th in a 1.10m Table A class. 🌟

Madison Gough and EE Devil Wears Prada had some great rounds in the 1.10m, including a 7th place. They also stepped into a 1.20m Speed Class with so much confidence! So proud of this pair 😈

Emily Lawrence and Estandar were 6th, 7th, and 8th in the 3ft Working Hunters, as well as 7th in the Adult Medal 🎖

Amanda Lang and Carrara had some great rounds in the .9m! 💎

Jenn Galloway and Easy Rhythm made their debut in the Low Adult hunters! We can’t wait to see these two continue to develop a partnership ❤️

Kristen Hillier had some solid rounds with her lovely 6yo stallion Copernicus WF, and the rest of her training horses and students made great improvements👏🏻

It just keeps getting better! Well done everyone at Week 2 of Angelstone: The Champions!

Kristen Hillier and Quintissential WF jumpd double clear on Saturday Night in the $30 000 Kubota Grand Prix! They finished in 6th place. They also jumped clear in the Open Welcome to finish 9th, and 5th in the 1.35m earlier in the week.

Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot were 1st and 2nd in the 1.25m to finish Reserve Champion next to Ian Millar and Deja Vu. Congrats Captain, it was so much fun to compete against you and learn from you.

Kristen Hillier and Copernicus WF jumped some stellar rounds in the 1.15m, to finish 7th on Friday. Keep an eye out for this talented young stallion!

Erin Davis and WKM Catalina earned two 4ths in the Adult Amateur Working Hunters. They also placed 3rd with a great trip in the GP Adult Medal.

Caroline Kerr and Sharavogue were 7th in a 1.15m class!

Amanda Lang and Carrara continue to develop their partnership in the .9m, always good experience and lots of learning.

Heather Rutherford and Altogether made their horse show comeback after many years hiatus. They earned 6th and 8th in the 3ft Amateur Owners!

We had such a great time this past week at Angelstone. We love when everything comes together for horse and rider. Congratulations to everyone on a very successful week! Highlights include:

Kristen Hillier and Quintissential WF took 1st and 3rd in the 1.25m and were awarded Champion of the division.

Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot were 2nd and 7th in the 1.25m.

Caroline Kerr and Sharavogue were 5th in the 1.10m Jr/Am Table A class, and had a great clear round in a 1.15m Speed Class!

Amanda Lang and Carrara were 5th in the .8m, 7th in their first .9m, and finished with a 5th in the .9m Classic!

Emily Lawrence and Estandar were 2nd in the GP Adult Medal, and earned two 3rds, a 7th, and a 4th in the Handy in the very competitive Adult Amateur hunter division.

Emily Lawrence and Wyoming had some great trips including a 5th place in the Low Jr/Am Hunters.

Green Haven Stables has a few exciting employment opportunities opening soon! We are located in Limehouse, ON (Halton Hills)

Due to our Show Groom accepting a job in her desired field, we are now looking for a Show Groom to help with ALL of the Gold Shows at both Angelstone and Palgrave starting July 19 at Palgrave. Experience working with horses is required. Show Groom experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right applicant! We have a great team of horses and riders who are all very hands-on.

Due to our home girl moving, we are also looking to hire a Full-Time Barn Staff member. This position is Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. Experience working with horses is required. Experience handling young horses is preferred. Willing to train the right applicant. You will never be working alone, you will work alongside our amazing Barn Manager Smiley :) This position starts August 1st, or sooner if desired.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:
Turnout
Mucking stalls
Bedding stalls with shavings
Cleaning and refilling waters
Sweeping
Grooming horses
Tending to minor cuts/injuries
Etc.

We are looking for someone reliable and hard working with attention to detail. Experience working with horses is required. Come join a great team with a lovely group of horses and clients!

May Palgrave 2022 is in the books 📚 Congrats to all of our horses and riders on a great start to the season! ✨💞👏🏻
Annika Vels and WKM Betty Boop were 4th in the 1.10m Jr/Am Classic, and 6th in the Speed Class!
Cay Parnoja and Choumi des Vergers Z were 7th in the 1.10 Jr/Am Speed Class, and just missed out on the ribbons in the classic with a rail coming down in the jump-off.
Erin Davis and WKM Catalina had some great rounds in a very competitive adult amateur working hunter division. This pair laid down their best handy round to date! We are so proud of them both.
Amanda Lang and Carrara made their horse show debut in the .8m jumpers with lots of success, taking home a 5th, 7th, and 8th! We can’t wait to watch this partnership develop over the season.
Brittany Garner and Charles Street had a great first horse show outing. “Collins” exceeded everyone’s expectations his first time stepping out into the hunter/jumper world! Keep your eyes out for this pair!
Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot jumped clean in Wednesdays 1.15m, and then moved up to the 1.25m on Thursday, jumping clean again to take 8th place with just a few time faults.
Kristen Hillier had some solid rounds in the 1.15m with Copernicus WF, and in the 1.25m with Quintissential WF. It is a pleasure watching these lovely young horses develop under Kristen’s guidance.
Charlotte Berry and Sophia (coached by Kristen Hillier) took home 3rd and 7th in the .8m Jumpers! Thanks to Charolette for all of your help behind the scenes back at the barn 😊
Caroline Scime and Daring (coached by Kristen Hillier) were 6th in the 1m Jr/Am Jumper Classic, and 8th in the Speed Class.

Our first week of the 2022 outdoor season is finished, and we are ready for week 2! Congratulations to our amazing team of horses and riders on all of their success. Everyone is off to a great start with lots to build on for this week! Highlights of last week include:
Kristen Hillier and Quintessential WF took
home Champion in the 1.25m jumping nothing but clear and efficient rounds with a first and a second place in the division.
Cay Parnoja and Choumi des Vergers Z had some great rounds in the 1m, including a 5th place round in Saturdays speed class.
Annika Vels and WKM Betty Boop had some great schooling trips in the 1m, ready to move on up to the 1.10m next week!
Erin Davis and WKM Catalina had a great debut in the 3ft Working Hunter division. Just getting bumped from the ribbons on Saturday to take the reserve spot.
Emily Lawrence and Estandar had some great results in the 3ft Working Hunter division taking home a 5th and a reserve.
Emily Lawrence and Wyoming are figuring out their hunter ring stride and finished with a 6th place in the 3’3 Jr/Am division.
Syd Hewins and WKM Co-Pilot had some solid rounds in the 1.15m, just missing out on the ribbons in Friday’s class with 4 faults in the jump off.
Syd and Amanda Lang’s Carrara had some good schooling rounds and we can’t wait to see Amanda and her grey mare make their horse show debut this week!
Jen Galbraith and her horse Easy Rhythm had some good schooling trips in the hunter ring. We can’t wait to watch these two progress throughout the summer!
Green Haven Stables alumni Carson Lewis and his wonderful mare WKM Yes Please took the win in the 1.25m on Thursday, and we hear they also did some winning in the 1.40m Jr/Am division on the weekend. Congrats Carson and Ivy - now under the guidance of Team Millar, but always a part of the Green Haven family ❤️🦄

From the development of young horses to Grand Prix, our training program aims to help horse and rider achieve their goals.

-high quality feed program
-full time adult staff members who live on the property 24/7
-large indoor and outdoor arenas with well maintained footing
-arrange all vet and farrier care, horse show entries, clipping/braiding, and shipping to shows

That’s a wrap on the outdoor season for 2021! We had a great 2 weeks at Caledon Equestrian Park.
Congratulations to our team:
Syd Hewins and WKM Betty Boop were champion in the 1.25m Week 2 with a 2nd in the speed and a 4th in the jump off class.
Syd and WKM Co-Pilot were 3rd and 6th in the 6 Year Olds, and 6th in a 1.25m class.
Erin Davis and WKM Catalina were Reserve Champion in the 3ft Amateur Owners with two wins, a second and a sixth.
Kristen Hillier and Quintissential WF were ninth in the Grand Prix.
Kristen and Copernicus WF had some good miles in the 5 Year Olds and 1.15m.
Carson Lewis and WKM Yes Please gained some more valuable experience in the open jumpers.
Caroline Kerr and Sharavogue were very consistent in the 1.10m with a 7th place in the jump off class.
Caley Parnoja and Choumi had some good rounds in the 1.10m.
Laurie Graham and Tesseract had some good rounds in the 1.10m.

We’ll be back at the park in a few weeks for the indoor Young Horse Finals!

Another great week for our team at Angelstone!

Madison Gough and Aboutier finished off their season on a great note with many ribbons in the 3ft Amateur Owners.
Erin Davis and WKM Catalina had a fantastic debut in the jumper ring coming home with a 2nd place in the jump off class.
Caley Parnoja and Choumi des Vergers Z were 6th in the 1.10m Classic, and 7th in the jump off class.
Carson Lewis and WKM Yes Please gained more experience in the open jumpers, putting in a 4 fault performance in the Open Welcome.
Kristen Hillier and Quintissential WF were 4th in the Grand Prix.
Kristen Hillier and Copernicus WF were second in the 5 year olds.
