Last week I spent my time in Mexico to help with their spay and neuter campaign. This campaign offers free spay and neuter for any cats and dogs to help homelessness and stray population. Over 180 volunteers gather to assist at least 30 vets. Within two days we were able to spay and neuter 700 animals!
I have met the most inspiring and amazing people during this trip. The community was also wonderful and I found myself wishing I would have stayed longer. I also had the opportunity to help catch some street dogs to bring the campaign for spay/neuter!
This was a life changing opportunity for me and I hope to contribute my help as much as I can. I am so grateful for the new friends I have made along with this wonderful trip.
I had so much fun with adoptable Bullwinkle from @northumberlandhs at their golf fundraising event! Bullwinkle and I were in charge of supervising one of the holes, and of course, while we waited we did some training! 🤩
I had a clicker in one hand and clicked for every positive behavior I saw without asking. I rewarded every behaviour I saw that I liked. I started to add cues like hand touch and of course, took a break and had some fun before resuming again. He did amazing and picked up many new positive behaviours 🐾
Bullwinkle is up for adoption at @northumberlandhs. I am offering 2 free private training lessons with his adoption. He is a friendly 11 months old mix breed. He is very.smart and affectionate to everyone and other dogs. DM us to ask about Bullwinkle! 🐶

“Hey, my name is Billy. That’s what they have been calling me around here anyways.
You see, I was a lost boy who was never found. Someone picked me up outside and brought me to this place where I am called the shelter.
I was scared and lost. I growled and barked at everyone I saw so they would leave me alone. I’m not a bad boy, I’m just scared. Now, the shelter isn’t so bad. I’ve made lots of friends. They feed me, give me pets and kisses. They tell me what a good boy I am and let me play with toys. They fill the pool up for me because they know I love to play in the water. I am glad I don’t have to wander the scary world anymore.
The shelter staff and volunteers have been good to me. I think now I want to try this place they have been calling a home. I learned people aren’t scary anymore. I also love meeting the other shelter doggies who have also been waiting for this place called a home and family. I’ve been doing my best to be a good boy. “
