Welcome ✨LUKEY✨

This happy little guy is a 3.5 year old Cockapoo who has recently joined Pepper’s Pack! Lukey also happens to be related (through this owners) to Pablo, who I introduced to you last summer 🐾🦴🐕

While his owners were in Boston last month to attend their son’s graduation, I had the privilege of taking care of Lukey. I made several trips throughout the day to feed and walk Lukey, which allowed him to stay in the comfort of his own home for the three day trip, while still getting lots of love and exercise 🥰🙌🏻

Happy Birthday ✨SNICKERS✨

Wishing this sweet Snicker-Doodle a very happy 7th birthday today! While his family is away on holiday, I have the pleasure of checking in on him (and his two kitty siblings!), and I have the extra pleasure of giving him some birthday snuggles! Snickers, I’m sure your family will pamper you with love and liver treats when they come back, but in the meantime, you’ll get extra belly rubs and bum scritches from me! 💚🐾

Welcome ✨ACE✨

This happy looking boy is a 13 year old Pug-Bulldog mix, and is the newest member of Pepper’s Pack!

For the last five years, Ace has enjoyed having his owners work from home, but now that they have begun transitioning back to in-office work twice weekly, I have the pleasure of walking this big boy 🤩

Don’t let his size fool you though, he is a big, adorable baby who loves belly rubs, giving slobbery kisses, and snuggling up with one of his many Lamb Chop stuffies.

As a brachycephalic breed, Ace can only tolerate the heat for short periods of time, so our walks are slower paced and always include lots of rest and water breaks. Some days he’s up for a slightly longer walk, and other days he prefers a shorter walk with more indoor play time. In either case, I get lots of one on one doggo time, so it’s win-win for both of us 💚🐾

Welcome ✨GATSBY✨

This stunning boy is an almost 2 year Aussiedor (Australian Shepherd-Labrador mix) and is big brother to Stuart, who I introduced a few weeks ago.

Gatsby is a little shy, a little anxious, and a little introverted. I think that’s why he and I bonded so quickly and so seamlessly; he can tell when he’s met a kindred spirit. Each time I visit Gatsby, he stands up on his hind legs to give me a hug (he’s big on hugging 💚) and sometimes we just stand there, holding onto each other. No words are spoken, but a lot is communicated.

He also likes to sit on the back porch, basking in the warmth and sunshine, while I pet him. I often wonder what goes through his mind in those quiet moments, as he looks very deep in thought. I know he is still grieving the loss of his older brother Charlie, and is struggling to adjust to his new role as big brother to Stuart, but I hope my visits with Gatsby bring him some degree of comfort and contentment.

Some dogs need a lot of play and stimulation…some just need a patch of sunshine and two shoulders to rest their paws on 🐾💚

Welcome ✨STUART✨

This little sweet potatoe pie is a 10-week old Sheltie, and he is the newest member of Pepper’s Pack 🐾🦴

Being so young still, Stuart is not fully vaccinated and thus not able to venture outside for walks yet, but he is the process of being house trained. His owners opted to have daily in-home visits during which I take Stuart out for a bathroom break, give him fresh water, and play with him. He also has a big brother (picture coming soon!) who isn’t quite sure what to make of Stuart yet, so I’m working on those oh-so-important socialization skills as well.

The in-home visits I offer are fully customizable to yours and your pet’s needs and cover everything from food prep, to administering medication, to helping reinforce the training that’s already been started (i.e. house training, crate training, basic commands, etc.). If you have any questions, I’m always happy to chat 🐾

Welcome ✨RONA✨

This stunning girl is a 6 year old German Shepherd and is the newest member of Pepper’s Pack. Over the last couple of weeks, I have had the privilege of walking her daily while her owners were on business in Europe.

Rona is an absolute sweetheart, who greeted me every morning with lots of kisses and tail wags. Once the collar was on and we were out the door, however, it was all business. She takes her walks very seriously and has an intense focus. Her lovely leash manners made for very pleasant walks, and her squirrel radar is top notch 👌🏻

Looking forward to many more walks with this beauty! 🐾

Welcome ✨ROCKY✨

This distinguished looking gent is an 8 year old Boston Terrier-French Bulldog mix, and is the newest member of Pepper’s Pack. He may be small in stature but is big on love and snuggles, and is the sweetest little boy! The first time I met him, he promptly hopped onto my lap and sat there while I chatted about his needs with his owner.

Due to the schedule of Rocky’s owner, our walks alternate week to week, and some days he gets one walk, while other days he gets two. Rocky’s owner has opted to purchase a walk package, and on the days when he gets two walks, we split one longer walk into two sessions. This method can help extend the walk package a little longer, and help provide a little more savings in the long term.

Welcome ✨BRUCE✨

This scrumptious boy is a 9 year old Lab mix named after a martial arts master (iykyk), and enjoys The Three C’s: chasing tennis balls, camping with his owner, and cookies. Lots of cookies. Dog cookies, of course 😜.

Bruce has recently joined Pepper’s Pack Pet Care and will be enjoying weekly walks and visits to the off leash park with me. Although he may be entering his golden years, he has not slowed down and still has a ton of puppy energy. Must be the cookies. 🐾
