This breeding season’s first batch of baby ball pythons are out!

9 healthy hatchlings out of 9 eggs.

48 days after discovery. Eggs are sitting warm and snug in the incubator. Trying to hold myself back from cutting the eggs, although they say it should be safe to do so between the 47th and 52nd. I want to do it on Friday, the 51st, IF I am successful in my resolve.😁

My female pied giving eggs fertilized by male juice stored from 2+ years ago pushed me to start pairing some of my other snakes.

This female Piebald mated with my Banana Het Piebald Het Albino in 2018, and again in 2019. Both times nothing came out of it. As I wasn’t planning to breed my snakes until November of 2021, I didn’t pay any special attention.

May 20, 2021 - I brought her out of her enclosure and played with her a bit. I thought she was FAT!

May 25, 2021 - Now this! 9 large good eggs, 0 bad ones! She was coiled around them, so hopefully she was taking good care of her eggs before I discovered them and placed them in the incubator.
