A reindeer’s eyes turn blue in winter! Scientists discovered the collagen fibres in their reflective layer pack together more tightly and start to reflect blue wavelengths of light instead of yellow, to help them capture more light during the dark winter months.

🚨 Gross Post Alert! 🚨
A few weeks ago we removed two ticks from a patient, and then we placed them in a pill vial. They began laying eggs at an alarming rate!! Look how many eggs there are!
This really highlights the importance of tick prevention and awareness, as a single tick can lead to a significant increase in their population. Ticks are active at 0 degrees and up. Remember to check your pets regularly and make sure they are on flea and tick prevention all year round.
