I’m so happy to introduce sweet Stormy ❤️. Stormy is a brave (approximately) 5-6 month old female kitten that was very scared in the shelter but has blossomed in foster care. Stormy LOVES to play, having her cheeks kissed and lap snuggles. Oh and did I mention she LOVES to play?? 😻She also has a beautiful purr and the sweetest little voice, oh my. Loud noises can be a bit scary and Stormy will be shy on first meeting. She will need some time to adjust to her new home but it won’t be long for her purr motor to start and the snuggles to follow. Beautiful Bengal Viva and her babies, the PBJ litter, would like to wish all of you out there a very Happy Thanksgiving weekend.

Viva is thankful to the kind person who found her wandering outside in Langley, heavily pregnant, and thankful that her babies were born not under a bush or behind a garbage bin, but instead in a warm safe foster home. And now there's one more - one hugely important - thing Viva would be grateful for: *a new home*. Viva will be leaving her babies very, very soon now and is hoping for a new home with cat-savvy people she can love and call her own 😍

To all you nice folks out there, a big hello from the beautiful Viva and her babies (hereinafter known as The PBJ Litter) 😻

Basically a baby having babies, Viva (thought to be only about a year old) gave birth to her four little ones 18 days ago, and, as you can see from the pictures, Viva is a wonderful mom. I'll be adding captions to the pictures shortly, and will post these guys again soon so you can follow along as they grow.

So, please give Viva and her kids - Peanut, Butter, Jelly, and Crackers - a big welcome!

Fleas....nasty things that can be very dangerous for little kittens. Just over one week ago, a little kitten was found in the bumper of an old truck. Although he seemed to be about 2 weeks old (eyes were open), he was very tiny and very anemic because of the multitude of fleas on his teeny body. He has a very strong will to live so he was named Griffin. In the past week he has had to endure multiple baths to try to wash the fleas off his body. The first two pictures are his first night after one of the many baths and now a week later, he is looking so much better. At only 3 weeks (and way underweight), it's going to be some time before he is looking for a home but he's a very special little guy. (LindaB)

Meet Chiquitita, aka Peanut (because I call all my tiny fosters, Peanut) or Mini G (because I already have a grey cat named Graycie). She is approximately 4 weeks old, LOVES gushies and is getting used to our busy house. She has a lot of growing up to do before she is ready for her forever home, but I will try and post lots of pics of this cutie as she grows.

The last 3 kittens from the Euphoria Litter (also known as the KLine kittens) are posted and accepting applications. They are almost 4 months old (how did THAT happen?) sweet, active and a whole lot of fun. They are still winning awards for their climbing and jumping so may be best with older children and would do great either as a pair with a sibling or with a cat as a new buddy. Remember the KLine kittens (also known as the Euphoria family)? - well IT"S TIME!!!!! for at least 3 of them to look for their homes. Official names are Tandem (Rue), Axle (Elliot) and Wind Blade (Maddy). They would be great in a pair (love each other very much so any combination) or with a buddy to keep them company. Probably not good with really young children because they do still climb or jump. Introducing these SUPER adorable, bonded siblings - Elena (grey female) and Stefan (lt grey tabby male). They came to LAPS as very scared babies but a little time and TLC has these cuties chirping and purring up a storm. As they are bonded they are looking for a home together. Elena is a bit shy so a quieter home would be best and once she feels comfortable she’ll be waiting at your feet for a rub. She learns a lot from her brother and I love seeing them snuggle and groom each other. They love kisses and snuggles (and TOYS!) and can’t wait to find their furever home. Spay & neuter date is next week so they’ll be available to go home soon after 😊. Aren't all kittens super cute? Foster moms always think their babies are "the best" and the KLine babies are no different. Super cute - and super spunky. They are about 7 1/2 weeks old and growing well. They love to play with toys and each other and will allow a very quick cuddle before they rush off to the next adventure. Mama Jackie still has her reservations about the "hoomin" who interrupts their family time but is slowly starting to relax and will sit and watch and has even shown some interest in the toys that may go whizzing past. It will still be a couple of weeks before the shelter will be accepting applications. (LindaB)

Names...."a rose by any other name would smell as sweet"...names are given to the kittens in foster care because it gives potential adopters a name to relate to when they are considering putting in an application. But most of the time the foster moms end up with nicknames or call the babies by a cute name while they are giving love and play. The K-Line litter were given some really inventive but really hard to remember names so have some "aka names" to make it easier for the foster mom. They are all adorable and progressing very well as they are nearing their 5 week birthday. Mama is continuing to resist the foster mom's charms but is an amazing mom and is willing to share time with the babies. (LindaB)
