Wondering about how the herd stays warm as the temperature dips?

No... not coffee (although George was so curious about the smell!). You might have noticed most of the horses looking a little fuzzier as their winter coats come in.

We also have the stalls prepped and ready in case things get really wild!

Many of you will have already met our fantastic new barn manager, Madison, but for those who haven't...

Madison joined our team this summer and immediately jumped in getting to know the herd, working with the staff to train and get everyone (horses and people!) ready for the start of program.

Copies of the agenda & reports will be available upon request in the office by Thursday October 3rd

 Annual paid membership fees of $15.00 are due prior to the start of the AGM.
 New memberships must be paid 60 days prior to the AGM (before August 11, 2024) to be eligible as voting members or for nomination for director.
 Annual membership fee is waived for volunteers who volunteer 50 or more hours in the previous fiscal year (August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024).

therapy, recreation, life skills and farm related activity

💙 A huge thank you to all of our new volunteers who came out in this *beautiful* Pacific Northwest weather for our training day this weekend. Several of our CanTRA certified instructors will be teaching them our side-walking procedures and policies using our lovely therapy horses.

Our program could not exist without our volunteers, and this group of lovely people will be joining our team for the fall term as we expand our client-base.

We are looking to fill some vital shifts for our Fall Term! Commitments for a shift can range from 30 min to a couple hours. We'll work with you!

Side walkers (no horse experience necessary)
Tuesdays 3pm-4:30pm
Thursdays 10:30am-12:30pm
Fridays 2pm-3:30pm

Leaders (horse experience required)
Tuesdays 3:30-4 or 4:30pm
Thursdays 12:30-1pm and 4pm - 5pm
Fridays 4:30-5pm.

Happy BC Day!

We love being in beautiful BC and want to acknowledge the location of our barn on the traditional lands of the Cayuse, Kwantlen, Semiahmoo, S’ólh Téméxw, Umatilla and Walla Walla people.
