We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a working student. Responsibilities include: completing barn chores, turn-out/ turn-in of ponies & horses, tack-up / untack, cleaning (ponies, tack, stable ..... you see it, you clean it!), painting, gardening, and light maintenance tasks, in addition to exercising a variety of ponies & horses.
In exchange for your hard work, we offer onsite accommodation, 2 full days off per week, a weekly stipend, as well as the opportunity to ride and train on a variety of ponies in different disciplines and the chance to work closely with our experienced trainers to further develop your skills as an equestrian and overall horse person.
The farm is situated between Montreal and Ottawa and we'll happily take you into town so you can enjoy the area on your days off :)
Working student sessions are typically 8-12 weeks in duration and run May - October. References required.
