Welcome Tucker!
Tucker is a Border Collie that overall is a pretty good boy to begin with!
His family would like a solid recall, calm on command & good door manners. He has some very minor reactivity that has yet to show up here but with structure, rules & boundaries we are certain that will disappear.

Welcome Rhett!
Rhett is a 6 month old Lab & he is here for two primary reasons: recall & escaping/poor behaviour in his crate. His family did the right thing & didn’t wait for serious behaviours to arrive! They started to struggle a little bit & immediately got some help!

Adopt Harley!!

Harley is our foster through .
He & all his siblings were dumped in a bin during a storm last winter and left to die. Then Harley ended up back in the shelter with his sister because they have allergies & their family didn’t want to deal with them! Salty came to the rescue & pulled Harley from the euthanasia list! (But unfortunately didn’t make it in time for his sister 💔).
Harley is the sweetest love bug. If he could lay in your lap all day for pets & cuddles he would. Harley is good with other dogs on slow introduction, otherwise he’s nervous. Extremely people friendly, crate trained, walks excellent on a leash & is quite low energy.
He is 8 months old currently and just under 50lbs.

Welcome Jack!
Jack is a mix of hound/who knows what so his Momma refers to him as a “Pure Bred Good Boy” which we have to agree!
Jack is struggling with quite a few things such as anxiety, reactivity, disturbing the peace when the neighbourhood squirrel comes in his yard, oh and one more thing…. His family says it’s never consistent. When they think he will, he won’t and vice versa.

Ghost is such a love bug with a super sweet personality, he just needs to tone some behaviours down jusssst a little bit.

After some time off to welcome our newest member at The Humbled Canine we are open for business again!

We will be offering Board & Trains and Private Sessions, but things will be operating a little differently. When it comes to behaviour modification we will only be taking on minor resource guarding & slight reactivity. Any one with issues more serious then that will be referred out.

Any of the Private Session families that wanted to wait until the spring to finish up your last few sessions, please reach out to get those booked.

We are excited to be back & look forward to seeing everyone on here again soon as our first client will be starting at the end of March 🤍

As mentioned in my story yesterday, sadly we will no longer be offering the Board & Train program in the near future. We have lots of big changes coming & this program no longer fits with our family for the time being. Guys, look at little Gigi go! Her owners just sent me this update & I’m so proud of her/them! Little Gigi came in reactive, insecure & over anticipating every move & with a couple more sessions to go still- they have achieved soo much! They truly put in the work! Gigi is now a model citizen for all dogs- Big & Small.

This little scholar is killing his program! . . Here’s a little time lapse to show his 2nd session of E Collar conditioning! . . For the first few days, every command he gets, comes with a stim (E Collar pressure). Once he does the command, pressure turns off. This teaches them how to turn it off & where it is coming from. .
