A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has already dropped off cat food donations at the Alliston & District Humane Society! Your support means the world to us and our furry friends in need.

However, our shelves are still looking a bit bare, and we are in urgent need of both wet and dry cat food. If you haven’t had a chance to contribute yet, we would greatly appreciate any donations you can provide. Every little bit helps us ensure that our cats receive the nutrition they need to thrive.

Donations can be dropped off at our shelter during business hours, or you can reach out to us for alternative arrangements. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our feline companions!

🎃 Set up your trick-or-treating station at the end of your driveway, bottom of your steps or in your garage.
🎃 Ensure the path to your trick-or-treating station is well lit and free of obstacles, including vehicles.
🎃 Remember everyone communicates differently! Be patient and understanding.
🎃 Consider stocking non-edible treats such as stickers, stationary and small toys.
🎃 Halloween is for everyone and every body! Some trick-or-treaters may appear to be older, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t looking forward to your treats!

!!! Urgent Request !!!
The ADHS is in need of cat food as our supplies are running dangerously low! We are looking for both dry kibble and wet food. Please help the cats in our care by donating food if you can. Donations can be dropped off at our shelter at 5545 Concession Road 4, Everett anytime 9-4 Monday to Friday. Donations can also be left in the ADHS donation bin at the Alliston and Angus Pet Valu locations.

The thanks for this donation goes to our devoted pet loving customers who, despite the fact that things are tight everywhere, continue to support these initiatives to help keep organizations like ADHS doing what they do best. So the pat on the back is to the community and in particular the customers that bought a PAW, you rock! I was proud to be able to represent YOU, in handing over the cheque!

A HUGE thanks to Rick, the owner of Petvalu Alliston and his customers who raised 3 thousand dollars for ADHS animals from the store's Paw event in June! This month we are Rounding Up Fur Love!
Since 2011, Companions For Change has raised over $28 million in support of pet charities across Canada and has helped over 46,000 pets find their forever homes. Some of these charities include Parachutes for Pets, the Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs and Rabbitats, as well as local charities such as the Alliston & District Humane Society. Pet Valu Alliston pairs with Companions for Change through local product drives made possible by our generous Devoted Pet Lovers and our in-store donation bin. Our location also supports local pet adoptions through our National Adoption Weekends in partnership with the Alliston & District Humane Society!
