This year I have decided to work 1-2 Saturdays a month for only current Saturday clients. We will not be taking new Saturday clients until after the thanksgiving long weekend.

The reason for it is mental health I just can’t keep up working 6 days a week my body and mental health can’t do it anymore I hope clients can understand that I need to start taking 2 days off a week as well instead of getting 1 day off. For the rest of the year we will be rotating days off.

As many know the last couple of years during the summer and fall months I have limited my Saturdays due to competing but it’s not just dog shows I do. We have a tractor pulling team, as well as we are apart of the Georgian bay steam show.

This past long weekend we were away competing and moose went Best in Breed! I am very proud of our boy and can’t wait to see where the shows lead us this year.

It’s a great honour to be asked to take over this event for this year! If you would like to just come on out for the day we will have tractor pulls at the grounds as well! Lots of things for the whole family!

We’re 10, Can you believe it ? I have been thinking a lot lately about the stories and milestones of this journey my team and I have been on for the last DECADE. Wow, I am amazed and blessed as I sit here reflecting on what we’ve created.

I would like to invite all of our clients out for our 10 year anniversary Sunday June 23 from 12-3 we will have refreshments, cupcakes, treat bags for the pups and even a giveaway.

On slow days we play with the slow motion video!! The boys love their play room aka our lunch room!! So a big update since a lot of our clients haven’t seen much of the boys. Chase is 2.5 now and 140 pounds, Astro is 1.5 and 149 pounds and still growing 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Chase has stopped and has fully filled out. We still have bets in the shop how big Astro will get!! The boys love everyone but not everyone loves the boys and we fully understand that. ❤️❤️❤️ here is a cute video of them playing!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Brinkley you will now! Brinkley has been coming to me for a while and LOVES seeing me every time he comes in when his mom leaves this is where you will find him! He waits for me in the tub, yes, yes he does get in on his own!

It’s spring time here in the shop and with spring comes shedding season. Dogs shed for different lengths of times and some truly don’t stop shedding. Here’s one of the new short hair brushes I got to try and combat shedding season. I used Chase as a model as he is blowing his coat out, for those who don’t know who Chase is, he is my 9 month old Great Dane puppy. Side note I did a full grooming on him 2 weeks ago so this gives you an idea of how long shedding can last. Call us today to book in your next groom.

Chase loves all the dogs that come in especially the little ones. He’s 9 months old now and is being very gentle with 15 week old Chico.

I love when my fur clients make themselves at home in the shop.

Chase 8 Months, Caliber 2 years old. They had a blast in the shop together playing in the shop.

Teddy came in for his first hair cut as a puppy. His mom wanted a lion cut but to leave the tail long. He is such a good boy and played tug of war with chase.

Big or small we don’t mind. Chase loves making friends with all the dogs that come in. He will keep your dog company while we await you coming back to pick up. Every play session is highly monitored so no one gets hurt.
