Winnie was on a 5 week grooming schedule and boarded with us a lot over the last year. She was like family as most of our clients are. Winnie holds a special place in our hearts. ❤️

I still have some openings but I will be away Friday August 5th for vacation and Friday August 12th for CPR/First aid training that I need for my future career!

I want to take a moment to share why Jiinx Grooming and Pet Services is great! Kimberly worked at a dog daycare facility here in Amherst for 2 years. Her employer sent her a glowing recommendation and letter of reference. After speaking to both Kimberly's previous employer and her coworker, I feel confident Kimberly carries the passion, drive and compassion it takes to work in this industry and look after my existing clients or any potential new ones. She will dedicate her grooming career in a caring and gentle manner that all pets deserve.

It is bittersweet to let my grooming career go but it has taken a huge physical toll on my body causing damage to my shoulder, ribs and a strain on my hands at times. I take pride in offering up my space for Jiinx Grooming and Pet Services so that it is used for what I intended it to be by continuing to serve Amherst and area pets!

Dogs to Divas has some big announcements coming soon!

Please be advised that we are not taking new clients at the moment. We hope to be able to take new clients in the fall so keep an eye on our page for updates!

If you are inquiring as a new client we likely will not be able to get back to you due to how busy we are accommodating existing clients.

If you have been to us before but have not been in several months, you may have fallen off of our client list.

We highly recommend pre booking your appointments!

Nail trims Saturday for a good cause!!🤞🏻🐾🐾

As some of you have probably seen, a few of our staff members are fundraising to volunteer for a week in Costa Rica this coming November to assist with a spay & neuter relief clinic for animals who do not have access to veterinary care.
* The organization we will be volunteering with is called PAWS Costa Rica. *

We will be offering a nail trim fundraiser on Saturday May 28th from 10am-2pm here at the clinic! The cost is a minimum $20 donation per pet (cash or e-transfer only). We will also have cotton candy & snow cone treats for sale for the humans! Come see us for a pawdicure for your pet & a yummy treat for yourself 🐾🍦!

We would prefer if those interested would call us to book an appointment time, but we will take walk-in nail trims on this day as well!

Good morning!

Did you know that all of the other reputable groomers with experience in Amherst are not taking on new clients at the moment?

With this news I am encouraging all of my clients to book in advance whenever possible. It is currently taking about a week to get an appointment for clients who come in on a regular basis. I am always taking new clients but I save room for my regulars with challenging schedules, usually first responders.🐾

I am also looking forward to many of my NB regulars returning next week!🥰

If you are a client and you have not been in to see me in the last 3 months, you may have fallen off of my client list but I will try to accommodate those clients on a case by case basis.

Canines need to be on a 4 to 12 week grooming schedule minimum. The longer the hair, the more frequently they need groomed if they are a large breed that requires haircuts. I have lots of poodle and doodle clients that rotate between face, feet, f***y (partial grooming) and full service grooming that includes a full body trim. The key to long hair if that's what you desire, is frequent visits to the groomer, brushing in between visits at home and a clean/conditioned coat.
