National Doberman Day is April 15th, which is coincidentally Tax Day. This is to honor the creation of the breed by German tax collector Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, whose goal was to create a loyal protector and companion 🐾

🚨 Attention All IGP Helpers!🚨

Our club is excited to host an Educational Event for Ontario Region IGP Helpers! This is a fantastic opportunity for club-level helpers up to national-level helpers to enhance their skills and gain valuable experience.

📅 Date: June 7-8, 2025
📍 Location: 10449 County Rd 3, Mountain K0E 1S0
👥 Teaching Helpers: James Fanta and Pando Stepanis
🍽️ There will be a $25 fee for lunch. Please etransfer to [email protected]

Seminar Highlights:

✅ Trial helper theory & practical work
✅ GSSCC helper certification (Club level & up)
✅ 2025 GSSCC National Championships helper selection

Helpers:

🔹 Every helper planning to sign up is encouraged to bring a dog to be used.
🔹 Don’t forget to bring your helper books!

⚠️ All participants & spectators must be GSSCC members in good standing.

Thank you to everyone for making the Ottawa Working Dog Club Fall Trial a success! 🍁

Thank you to our judge Ken Trouton for traveling to spend the weekend with us, Fred Lottes for getting up at 5am to come and lay tracks, and our club member Dan Burley for an excellent job as trial helper (first trial)!
