With even colder temps forecasted for the rest of this week over the last two days we have put at least 55 blankets on all the barn’s horses! Keeping horses warm with full bellies and properly hydrated is always on our mind but especially so when the weather turns nasty. Stay warm out there!

Stalling can have a lot of benefits no matter the season. During the summer they provide escape from the sun and heat and overheat fans keep cool air circulating. While in the winter it keeps our ponies cozy and out of the worst of the cold winter weather. We have lots to offer with our indoor board options and as always do our best to keep your horses as happy and comfortable as possible!

Sometimes things wander into our lives and our homes at just the right time. Just before the Appaloosa show last weekend this little guy showed up and befriended all our lesson kids and they told us he had to stay! (As if we could say no) at first we thought he was a girl so the kids named him Telula but upon further investigation he is a boy and appears to be an oldie at that. So we welcome Mr. Tully, our barn kitty who has already shown us how snuggly he is as well as already taking care of mice for us. If you see him around the barn he sure to give him a pet!
