The cows are out! We have a mother and daughter who are farm bound due to a bovine escape. They are booked to attend the Trish Tweddel clinic tomorrow as unmounted participants. They have kindly offered to donate their spot to someone that can use them. First two people to email [email protected]. Start time is 9:00 with a lecture on the shoulder biomechanics.

I am so excited to have Madison booked to do the March 30 Anatomy workshop at CEP. That one is full but if you are interested in one on March 29, please let me know. 8:30 Registration
9:00 - 12:00 Unmounted instruction and participation
October 5 will cover shoulders and October 6 feet
12:00 - 12:45 Bring your own lunch
12:45 - 5:00 Rider instruction using what was learning in the morning.
500 - 6:30 On October 5 only there will be a potluck dinner for all participants (both mounted and unmounted)
6:30 7:30 October 5 only - Lecture on the Riders Jaw and the inpact on Rider Performance.

This clinic taught by Trish Tweddell will help train your feel and elevate your riding by correcting imbalances in your equitation. This will be done through the use of imagery, simple anatomy lessons and exercises that increase awareness and develop feel.
Each morning will be an unmounted classroom session and the afternoon will consist of semi private lessons. You will leave with training tools to add to your skill sets both when working mounted and unmounted.
Sign up for one day or sign up for both. The first day will cover shoulders and the second day feet. After the first day there will be a potluck dinner followed by another lecture, this time discussing the rider's jaw. All unmounted and riding participants are invited to this evening session.

Franklin Method Equestrian 4* Trainer
EC Licensed Coach
NCCP Competition Coach
BSc from the University of Saskatchewan
Completed a 2 year apprenticeship with the Olympic Rider Gina Smith
If you want to up your horsemanship, come join us October 5& 6 for this clinic. Limited rider spots available at $220 per day and unmounted spots at $85 per day. . Unmounted fees are non refundable but are transferrable. You would just need to let us know who you have given it to. Rider spots have a $50 per day non refundable fee if the spot is sold. The remainder would be refunded once the new participant pays

If anyone wants a free audit ticket to tomorrow's (Saturday Sept. 21) Jill Barron clinic, comment below. Someone has generously donated this. The day starts at 8:30 and runs until 5:30. Tomorrow the riders will be working on dressage tests. Draw will be done at 10:00 tonight.

Huge congratulations to Kimberly Schilling and Ella Barkman who won Year End Reserve Championships in the Prairie West Chapter for L1 and L3 respectively. Coach Robert Klassen and all your CEP friends are so proud! We will have to have a bit of a celebration at the upcoming Jill Barron clinic. Great work!

Clinic registration confirmation for the March 30 Anatomy Clinic have been sent out. Check your emails! Two spots left in this clinic which has morning lectures and an afternoon of Anatomy Hands on lab tables. Cost is $125 including GST. Details under the events area. Looking forward to this!

The team has been busy getting ready for the Jim Anderson clinic at our farm. Amazing how everyone pulls together. Things are pretty well set, horses are arriving, the new entrance to the new patience pole is ready and it is time to have fun with our ponies. This is the last Jim clinic until May 2025!
