I want to be transparent, this is a difficult post to make.

For many years anxiety / depression haven’t controlled me. I’ve gone through bouts of feeling overwhelmed but I’ve been able to centre myself and push through.

I’ve had a very rough month and I feel I’m struggling to process my feelings. I will be taking some time away from social media and I will also be only working (dog walking) in the Arichat area on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the foreseeable future.

I love and appreciate my clients in Louisdale and I hope to figure out a way to serve you again soon. My biggest obstacle is transportation and even with the generous help of others there are obstacles with being able to schedule, especially in the winter.

Outside of dog walking I am also available for house cleaning and other odd jobs in the Pondville, Rocky Bay & Arichat area on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We have opening this year message to book planning a trip and need a dog sitter, best place for your fur baby’s, we are a non kennel operation, it’s right homie for your furry friends, we have a closed in yard with beach front for lots of swimming and playing we also have 5 dogs (fixed) of our own so they would have lots of play mates🥰 we can also do your location as well, whatever fits your animals needs and makes you feel comfortable. thank you for reading and considering us we want the best for your furry friends ❤️❤️

I will not be able to work in Louisdale for the month of January. Will reassess at the beginning of February.

I will be limited to working 6:30am-8:30am in the Arichat area until my son is back in Daycare.
(He has an injured foot and can’t walk)

This week we don’t have our car because a deer ran out in front of my wife and it’s no longer drivable. So I will not be walking until that’s sorted out.

Hopefully there’s some of you out there having a good start to your year! 😅

The year has been off to a rocky start. My son hurt his foot / can’t walk so I’ve been at home with him while he’s not in daycare.
I also no longer have access to the transportation I previously had.

The plan is to get back to walking on Thursday morning but my availability has been very limited due to my son’s injury and lack of transportation.

I apologize for the inconvenience & hope to see you and your pets soon!

Since moving to the island I’ve had 18 clients and only 5 have booked for next week.

Absolutely no judgement for those who don’t need regular walks and or pet care or that have ended services indefinitely. I understand that circumstances change and I am grateful to have worked for you / with your pets!

Next week I only have 7 hours of work scheduled. I have room in my schedule for 15 hours (during the fall /winter) 20-25 hours when we have more hours of daylight.

I’m hoping with this post to be able to find some work to fill the gaps. Even a random dog walk or pet sitting gig here and there go a long way. I am so appreciative to anyone who shares this post, even more appreciative to anyone who will let me walk their dog or scoop their litter! I just wanna work!

Walks Resume as normal January 2nd.

Availability has significantly changed with my wife going back to work. I have our son during her work hours. Only able to walk on her days off / early mornings / evenings.

For the Arichat / Petit De Grat area these are the openings I have left if you’d like to book a walk for next week 🙂

Tuesday: 10-11, 11:30-12:30, 3-4
Wednesday: 1-2, 2:15-3:15, 3:30-4

*any hour slot available can be split into a 30 minute walk if preferred.

1 dog 1 hour = $18
1 dog 30 minutes = $12

2 dogs 1 hour = $22
2 dogs 30 minutes = $15

If you are not already booked into the weekly schedule but would like to book a walk please contact anytime between Thursday 4pm and Friday 4pm the week before.

Waiting on responses holds up scheduling. To insure scheduling moves along smoothly you can either send a message anytime during the week before to say you won’t need a walk or message Thursdays or Fridays to book!

If I walk your dog and you see this status let me know if your area is clear for walking and you’d like one.
Same goes for anyone new who would like for me to walk their dog in the Louisdale or Isle Madame area. Hoping to get some walks in on Thursday. By Monday hopefully conditions are good enough to walk in all areas!

Dog walking schedule January & February 2024

Monday to Thursday: 9-4

To book a walks for the following week please contact before Friday at 5pm.

Mondays & Thursdays will primarily be in Louisdale. Walks from 9-10 and 3-4 on those days can be booked for Isle Madame in advance.

I will travel to Louisdale any day where I am booked for a minimum of 2 hours.

In March my availability will be changing. I will be caring for our son during my wife’s work hours and work around her schedule
which will change every 3 months.
