⭐️ Important 2025 Updates ⭐️

Happy new year riders!

We hope you are looking forward to the 2025 show season as much as we are 🙂

In case you missed our open house meeting in December, here are some key updates for 2025 you should know:

🔹 Shows will be run as a FULL 3 day, 1 judge format (Friday am start time)

🔹 Division name changes- to avoid confusion, our Green and Senior Divisions will be renamed to: Green Non-Pro WTL, Green Open WTL, Senior Non-Pro WT, and Senior Non-Pro WTL.

🔹 RHRC shows will be WRHA affiliated! Come and earn WRHA points at our shows!

🔹 Youth saddle raffle! DK Saddlery have come on board as very generous sponsors with a brand new beautiful saddle to raffle off for a lucky youth rider.

🔹 New RHRC website coming this year! You will be able to find all our show information, rules, and more!

🔹 Our lovely 2025 judges will be Glenn Perran (June) and Jodie Moore (September).

More information will follow when the show bills are released. As always, let us know if you have any questions.

I am working on updating accounts and balances from the show, but it is a long process and usually takes 2-3 full days in front of a computer.

ACCOUNT BALANCES: I will email or message people as I review accounts to inform them about monies owed or monies due for refund.

STAKES PAYOUTS: Please give me a few more days (I have full-time school to catch up on and am working as well). I will message the winners in the coming days.

WHAT A SHOW!

We will be posting an update on how amazing our BIGGEST SHOW YET was in the next few days.

Our club secretary is in a full time masters program and is working, so please be patient as she works through the following:

⭕️ SCORE CARDS/RESULTS: these will scanned soon

⭕️ ACCOUNT BALANCES: as our secretary works through these, overpayments and accounts owing will be contacted.

⭕️PHOTOGRAPHS: Tobiano Photography will make a post when photos are ready to view and purchase. She has over 15,000 photos to go through, so this will take some time.

⭕️RECEIPT REQUESTS FROM SHOW: Please reach out to the club in 4+ weeks time. Our secretary keeps extensive records, so these can be done at any time once the show has been files.

⭕️ SPONSORS INFORMATION: PLEASE THANK YOUR SPONSORS! Anyone needing contact information to thank their sponsors, please reach out.
We will be posting a list of sponsors in the near future.

⭕️STAKES WINNERS: Please message or email the club the email you would like us to e-transfer the winnings to!

As of 6:30pm tonight we are opening up the trail ring for paid practice 15 minutes slots. Come see the office to sign up for a spot.

‼️‼️Day 1 Updates ‼️‼️

⭕️ Small warm-up pen beside the trail arena is TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We have two horses in there at the moment. Please do not open gates or move them. We will let you know when it is reopened for use.
⭕️ Trail practice: some signup spots are still available first-thing. Please check with the show office to put your name down.
⭕️ Friday Arenas:
- Agriplex Indoor: available all day for warm up
- Rodeo arena: available all day for warm up
- Ring 2: set up for trail classes.
⭕️ START TIME: 12:00 unless otherwise announced. Trail arena to be cleared out by 11:00 for harrowing and trail measuring.
⭕️ In-Hand Classes:
- Class 1: Ranch Trail- In-Hand - horses 5 years and Under: approximately 20 entries
- Class 2: Ranch Trail In-Hand - horses aged 6 -15 years: approximately 27 entries
- Class 3: Ranch Trail In-Hand - Regal horses aged 16 and over: approximately 21 entries.

Show office will be open around 6:30.
