We have an overwhelming demand for our tasty eggs 🥚😁 We want to supply our community and ask to please be patient with our gals, we can't beg or force our hens to lay eggs on demand! we feed them high quality feed, fresh veggies, fruit, and the Chick Caboose Trail mix for chickens! The rest is up to mother nature!!

Would you believe me if I told you that pork lard is good for your skin?! Like, super good!

Introducing our pastured pork lard, natural lip balm.

Skeptical? Trust me, I’m a lip balm connoisseur. For years I wondered why the store-bought lip balm actually chapped my lips even more, making me need even more lip balm.

I’ve been hunting for the *perfect* lip balm, and the answer has been hiding in my freezer now, for YEARS!

Pig skin has a comparable pH to human skin, which means we are more readily able to absorb it. Additionally - our pigs see sunlight throughout their entire lives - meaning their fat is chalk full of that good ol’ vitamin D.

Our lip balm is made with our pastured pork lard, beeswax, shea butter, and lightly flavoured with essential oil.

Hoping to have some available, next Saturday at the Calabogie Winter Night Market - and as soon as we’ve built our stock, it will hit the website.

You can expect to see more products like this using our pastured lard and our grass fed beef tallow over the next few months. Think skin care and soap. Using the most natural of ingredients that you can feel good about putting on your body.
