We don’t always share the heartache that goes along with rescuing lost and injured animals.

But today, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to Milly. 🌈💔Milly was one of the sweetest kittens we’ve met, It didn’t take her long to quickly steal the hearts of everyone who knew her! Rescued from a local business at only four weeks old, she thrived with some TLC but despite the love and care we provided, it became clear as she grew that something was wrong. This little one faced an uphill battle with some severe congenital issues, including hip dysplasia.

While we fought hard to give her the best chance, the pain was too much for her tiny body to bear. We made the difficult decision to ensure she would not suffer.
She was surrounded by the love and warmth of our vet team and her foster mom.

A heartfelt thank you to her amazing foster mom Becca for providing her with a safe, loving home during her time with us. Your dedication and compassion made all the difference.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Valley Veterinary Clinic for their unwavering care and support. Your commitment to our animals is truly inspiring.

We would like to remind everyone that every life, no matter how brief, is worth celebrating.
Please hold your furry friends close today, and let’s continue to advocate for those who need us most. 🐾❤️

Rest in peace, sweet girl. You will always be remembered and cherished. 🐾❤️

On this snowy thankful Thursday we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kanata Academy Private School faculty, students, and parents for a big donation of supplies!
The Arnprior and District Humane Society was selected as their charity for the month of January and all worked to gather supplies for the animals! We can't thank everyone at KA enough for their efforts and ongoing support of the shelter and their furry friends. Thank you for your kindness!❤️🐾

Today, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pawsh Pets for their generous donation of food and supplies! 🐾 Your support makes a world of difference in the lives of our furry friends.

We are grateful for your kindness and commitment to our community. Together, we can create a brighter future for our pets in need. Thank you for being so supportive! ❤️🐶🐱

Huge thanks to everyone who brought in donations for the Arnprior & District Humane Society for cats! We were able to donate several big bags of cat and kitten food, a case of canned food, a number of beds and two full bags towels and sheets and washclothes!
They have over 80 cats in care right now, if you have anything cat related that you don’t need, consider bringing it to them or another local cat rescue in need 😸🫶
