Lakeridge Meadows Equestrian Centre, located in Ashburn, Ontario is looking to hire a mature, dedicated and reliable part-time staff member who is able to work alongside and independently starting in June. The position includes Saturdays, Sundays plus 2 days during the week (to be discussed). Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties include:
➤Feeding AM/PM grain
➤Administering any medications
➤Turn in/out
➤Blanketing/Fly sheets & masks/boots
➤Mucking stalls/sweeping
➤Hay/Water
➤Making AM/PM grain

Lakeridge Meadows is a private boarding facility located on the beautiful Oak Ridges Moraine and features many amenities in a calm, relaxed recreational atmosphere.

Lakeridge Meadows is happy, pleased and proud to welcome Melissa Ratté as the new Barn Manager, beginning June 1, 2022.

Melissa has always had a lifelong passion toward horses. She is equine first aid certified and currently finishing her equine science courses through University of Guelph. Over the past 10 years Melissa has been actively improving her knowledge towards horses with both theory-based and hands-on experiences.

Congratulations to Melissa. We are thrilled to be working with her.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Tori has decided to resign from her position at Lakeridge Meadows, effective May 30th, 2022.

As most of you know, Tori has been a fixture at our facility for the past four years and it is single handedly because of her that the barn has grown and flourished, particularly during what can only be described as a tumultuous few years.

Tori's knowledge of equine health and well being has kept all of the equine (and feline!) residents of our barn healthy and happy and Tori's friendly and kind nature has, of course, been such a welcome sight whenever we all visit this facility.

In short, Tori is going to be dearly missed and we wish her well on the next phase of her journey. We hope she will not be a stranger and still come visit all of us regularly! Please give your well wishes to Tori, Moose, Mama and Nala.

Lakeridge Meadows is pleased to announce open auditing for the upcoming dressage clinic with Eddo Hoekstra on Saturday, August 21 from 9 am until 4 pm.

Admission is free!

Come enjoy a day learning how to become a more connected rider from an inspirational coach! Masks required indoors, hand sanitizer provided. Please register on site for contact tracing.

Limited seating available, please bring a chair. Please no dogs on the day of the clinic. Thank you.

•Using 2-3 less bags per day
•Cleaning tasks are easier due to less dust
• Dumping is lighter
