Some days are puppies or kittens or baby calves. And some days are trying to stay warm in a snowstorm. ❄️🌬

We are very excited to have Kaira's help for a few weeks this spring. Kaira is a second year Vet Tech student and she is here with us doing one of her practicums as she nears the completion of her course.

Today she got to help us do some Bull Breeding Soundness Exams and it was a bit chilly, snowy and windy! 😊

(We try to capture some images for our students of the things they are doing, but today...it was just too cold for me to dig my phone out so this was the only one I captured. We'll get a better one on a warmer day. 😉 Jill)

Taylor was supposed to be finished with us on Friday but we managed to sneak in another case for her. She got to help deliver these 2 sweet little lambs from a first time mom! Everyone did well and babies were big and robust. Thanks for helping out Taylor!

This week we had the pleasure of having Taylor here helping us. Taylor is a familiar face in Assiniboia and area.😊 She is in her first year of the Vet Tech course at Sask Polytechnic and was here with us for the week on a clinical placement. We've had a great week and Taylor even managed to get to the clinic in Rockglen in time to help this baby into the world yesterday. Veterinary medicine is not always cute baby puppies, kittens, calves and foals but we always like when we get a chance to show off the times that it is! ♥️ Thanks for your help this week Taylor, we hope you've had fun and learned a bit and we wish you the best of the luck in the remainder of your program!

We are happy to report that our lost OV has been found. He is very happy to be home but is a little thin. Thank you to anyone who shared our post and helped us find him.

If anyone sees this guy please let us know at the clinic in Rockglen...306 476 2222. He went outside on Jan 9 (Thursday) and then did not appear before the end of the day. We have not seen him since. He is a snoopy guy and has got into vehicles before but has never stayed long. We are worried he maybe left on a vehicle that day. He is a bit of a baby and gets coddled at work cause he doesn't like the cold. His buddy Cross is missing him as are we. Please if you have seen him let us know. We will come and get him if you have seen him. Help us find our guy!
