Have you ever seen ear mites before?
Ear mites are a parasite that normally live in the ear canal and can be fairly common in cats 🐈
Common symptoms can be:
- Head shaking
- Scratching at the ears
- A dark brown material in the ear
They are contagious and can spread from cat to cat! But not to worry- they are treatable!
Typically we can take an ear swab to look for the pesky critters- and that’s what we have pictured here!
