Tangled Tails Pet Spa is hiring!!

We are looking to hire a hard working, motivated animal lover as a grooming assistant! The role involves preparing (bathing/drying/brushing) dogs for their grooms and assisting with cat grooming. Other tasks include cleaning and sanitizing, managing the laundry and interacting with clients.

Grooming experience is not necessary but applicants with animal handling experience will be given preference. Applicants will need to accept direction and follow instructions to ensure the safety of the pets in our care, as well as their own.

The current work schedule is currently:
8:30am - 2pm Tuesday/Wednesday
10am - 4:30pm Thursday
8:30am - 12pm Friday

Harvest hours are shorter (off by 1pm) during the months of September and October.
You will have all weekends and holidays off. We take time off at Christmas as well.

The position will officially start March 11th but we would love to have the opportunity to have our current assistant train you, so we are looking at a training start date of February 25th or earlier.

Successful applicant will have a driver's license and reliable transportation. We are located seven miles west of Barrhead on Highway 18.

Winter's Chinook time is upon us! That means icy ground, partially melted snow and very slippery footing! While we do keep the yard plowed and the sidewalk sanded, please be careful entering and exiting the grooming salon. Please park in the designated area (not on the driveway) to reduce the distance you need to walk when it's this slippery!

Harvest season is upon us! Our hours for the months of September and October are 8am to 12pm. Please remember to pick up your pets on time so we can get out into the field! If you're not able to pick up your pet at the given time, we're happy to reschedule your appointment! #Harvest2024 #farmlife
