What’s Going On In Your Pets Mouth?

Sometimes when our dogs pull away from having their mouths handled, it’s not just because they’re not “used to it”. There could be something deeper going on—like discomfort or pain.

Since they can’t tell us with words that something hurts or feels uncomfortable, they use the only language they have: pulling back, resisting, or even showing their teeth to say, ‘Back off.’

Listening to these subtle cues can help us catch potential underlying issues early. It’s important to pay attention to these signals, observing and respecting their responses helps us understand their needs.

Our goal is to have them comfortable and to be tuned in to what they’re trying to tell us.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, we had a fully booked day at
C&D Pet Studio . Unfortunately, by late morning,
I began feeling very unwell with chills, hot and cold flashes, a severe headache, and dizziness.

Despite my best efforts, I realized it wasn’t safe or fair to continue working in that condition, especially for the well-being of your beloved pets. As a result, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the rest of the day.

I truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I recognize that I’ve been pushing myself a little too hard lately, and I need to prioritize rest to be at my best for both myself and all of you.

I’m feeling much better today and will be in the office, answering any inquiries and getting everyone rescheduled for upcoming clinics.

Thank you so much for your understanding and patience. I deeply appreciate your support, I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow in Toronto.🫶🏻💚
