Now that the snow is here, our furry friends won't be walking as often on pavement (which helps file nails). It's important to keep them trimmed short to prevent altering the natural placement of the paw, which can cause discomfort and pain.

Ticks are out and about looking for a meal now that the weather is nice! Check your dogs frequently, a good tip after a walk in the bush or on the trails is to run a lint roller over your dog! Works well for shorter hair breeds to pick up those pesky critters before they latch on.
