We are switching focus and working really hard to pay down our long outstanding vet bill .

We are bringing back $5.00 Friday however are asking all funds be sent directly to our vets office and right onto our bill !

Our vet bill is currently sitting at $4400.00 and we would love to be able to knock that down some .

We are asking our community to please consider donating any amount and help us tackle this outstanding bill .

CLOTHING DRIVE - EXTENDED

Do want to participate in GREEN initiative and raise FUNDS for RESCUE DOGS all at the same time !

From now till the end of July we are collecting clothing to support our dogs in care .

For every 1000 pounds of clothing donated that’s $150.00 towards our dogs daily care and our vet bill !

Accepted items :

All clothing (from the socks on your feet to the hat on your head!)
Jewelry, belts & purses
Shoes, outerwear & coats
Linens, draperies & sleeping bags
Fabric, yarn & patterns

Nova is the queen of sweetness and snuggles. She loves people and snuggles. She is very respectful inside the house and plays hard with her doggy friends outside.

She LOVES meal time, she does have a sensitivity to chicken based food and treats. Originally she needed to be separated to eat her meals as she was very anxious and had some food reactivity, but has come a long way in a short time. She knows to sit and wait for her meals and gives kisses before she eats.

She is house trained. She knows several tricks and is very quick to learn. She loves to chew, but knows to stick to things she is allowed to and is not at all destructive. She is crate trained and will often put herself to bed at night sleeping right through.

She walks well on leash and enjoys her walks although she is very interested in birds and bunnies. Nova is great with dogs similar in size but can be fearful of bigger dogs and can bark and grumble a bit out of fear.

Nova is an independent girl and doesn’t like to bother her people when she would like a treat so if she is able to she prefers to help herself. Her forever home will need to keep treats out of reach as we are working on her counter surfing when her people aren’t watching.

Margie is a special little gal who needs lots of time and affection to feel safe in her new environment. Upon meeting her she comes across as being aggressive but she means no harm, she is just scared. Once she trusts her humans she will be your cuddle pal and give you endless kisses. Due to her personality, young children are not recommended.

Margie is fully house trained and did not have one accident while at her foster home. She loves going for walks, and is still learning to not bark at everything that crosses her path while on the walk. With proper introductions she would be find with another dog and has lived with one before.

She sleeps through the night in her crate, but prefers her bed. She is fine to be left alone and will stay in her bed waiting for the return of her humans. She is great in a car and loves coming to work with her foster mom everyday. She barked at everyone at first but with some delicious treats she quickly became friends with the whole office.

Margie can be a very picky eater and will often wait to see if there is better food. Be patient - she will eat the food that is put out for her.

Due to Margie's apprehensiveness, she does not like going to the groomer. If she is adopted to a family in the Barrie area, Margie has found a groomer that is very patient with her and experienced with dog's like her. It is recommended to make grooming a regular thing to get Margie more comfortable with it.

Margie loves belly rubs and will sometimes drop down on her back right in front of you, asking for rubs. She does not like to be touched around her face, but her foster mom has gained a lot trust and Margie lets her guard down more and more everyday. Margie is still young and very intelligent. With lots of patience and continued training, she will make a lovely companion.

We are working on leash skills as she’s very excited and wants to see everything.
Butter Tart gets along well with children but is learning manners and gentle play with them. Older children would be the best fit for her.
Butter Tart sleeps in her crate at night and alerts her foster parents when she needs to go outside with a gentle whine.
Play play play! Butter Tart loves to play with other dogs but sometimes needs a reminder or needs to be separated to give the other dog a break from the wrestle game. She is working on learning boundaries and signals from other dogs.

Butter Tart will need a family who is as active as she is. She would love to spend time outside running around.
Butter Tart loves to play with toys and will need to be monitored during play.

Bear is an energetic, curious, confident, and brave puppy who loves to play. He’s enjoyed meeting new people and even children, and is fearless in playing with his much larger foster brother. He loves his people and is a very loyal pup.

He’s making great progress in both his crate training and house training. Bear prefers to be with humans or his foster brother all the time, so time spent snoozing in his crate is helping him become a little more independent. He’s made some great progress with house training, and will let his humans know when he needs to go outside by whining.

As with many puppies of his age, Bear is quite mouthy. He loves his toys, so it’s not hard to redirect his mouthing to toys instead of your hands and feet. He walks great on a harness and leash, and will follow along with his foster brother.

Like many puppies, Bear can get bored and he will chew everything in front of him. He can also be quite vocal during this time, but can easily be redirected with chew toys.

Bear is very smart and learns quickly. He sits for treats, but also barks if you don’t give him his treat fast enough! If Bear has professional training, he will be an amazing addition to any family.

Bear will be neutered and microchipped before going home , UTD on vaccines .
