This is a reminder to please pick up after your dog.
I'm a local dog walker, every winter I've had to pick up a few frozen p**ps per week to keep any of the dogs from eating it, yes it's gross but it happens a lot in the winter. I've never complained about it because it's just a part of the job. This year however, it's absolutely ridiculous. Today I picked up 18 frozen p**ps. I walk the same trails every single day. I keep the spot where I park shoveled enough for people to be able to easily get in and out. Every 24 hours I'm picking up 10+ p**ps. My personal dog who is on leash is even able to get some because there's more than 1 p**p accessible while I'm trying to clean up. I'm not sure if this is another dog walker who is just not picking up after their clients but I am seriously fed up. I have never seen so much p**p on a trail in my life, could you imagine if I had not picked up hundreds of p**p this winter? We wouldn't be able to walk. So for nature's sake, please pick up after your dog. It's disgusting and keeping other people from enjoying the trails we all have a right to.
Feel free to share, I am beyond annoyed at this point.
