November 5th - 11th is national animal shelter and rescue appreciation week. Help us celebrate these amazing groups of volunteers that do so much for animals.

Here at Aldergrove Animal Clinic we’re filled with gratitude for all the incredible work that rescue organizations do to give animals a second chance.

A huge shout out to our very own RVT Katrina who helps with a few of the local rescues to foster some of the sweetest loves until they are able to find their forever home.

Also a huge shout out to some of the local rescues we have the pleasure of helping locally. , , , , and the number of other rescues we work with THANK YOU for all you do for the animals that are lucky enough to end up in your care while they find their forever homes. We appreciate you all!

If you are not sure about your pet’s rabies vaccine status please reach out to your veterinarian’s office. The rabies vaccine is required by law in Ontario for all dogs, cats and ferrets.

Ontario has recorded its first domestically acquired case of human rabies since 1967

We stress this daily but even indoor cats should be up to date with their rabies vaccine. Rabies vaccines are required by law in Ontario. When has your pet had its last exam and rabies vaccine?!

Just a reminder that this weekend is Labour Day long weekend. We are in the clinic Saturday August 31st from 9am to 2pm but the clinic will be closed Monday September 2nd. Please call ahead to make sure you will have food and medications for your furry family members over the long weekend.
