Yesterday we said goodbye to Daisy 💕

Daisy and her owner Tiffany have been part of the Kuruka Family for 14 years.

Daisy was the best pony. Sassy, smart and talented. She taught Tiffany so much, was a superstar at horse shows, boss mare in the paddock, game for anything and was very much loved by many.

It is always hard to say goodbye but she is now pain free.
She will be very missed.

Boomer 1998?-2024

We said goodbye to a true school master today.

I am lucky to have had him as part of my school program. He taught so many to ride and show. He has had the last few years to just be retired and enjoy paddock life.

It's always hard when it's time to say goodbye.

Big congrats to all our riders at their first Carrot and Stick Show yesterday! So proud of all of our riders for trying their best, working through challenges and having a great team spirit and sportsmanship.
Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of everyone. Feel free to add pictures in the comments.

Pirate “X Marks the Spot”
2002 – 2024

We unexpectedly lost our beloved Pirate this morning due to colic.

Pirate was a special horse that has taught so many riders in his 9 years as part of the Kuruka family.

He had such a personality and was so talented. His spots always made him stand out at horse shows. I always got so many compliments about my spotted horse.

I feel so lucky to have had him. He was huge part and foundation of the Kuruka Lesson and Show program.

I was not ready to say goodbye to him yet 💔

He was loved by so very many riders and I know he knew he was loved!

We said goodbye to Ozzy today. Sending big hugs to Emily who loved him very much.
Ozzy was a sweet boy with lots of personality.
We are sad but know he is now free of pain 💔
