Hey everyone, my (Laceys) shop is now finally done🥳! This means my books are now open to new clients, I will be taking select new clients. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS if your dog has a bite history or needs to be muzzled at any point of the groom then I will not take it on. When you message (or call) I ask you include the breed, temperament and a picture of your dog to make it easier for me. My new hours are going to be open Wednesday to Sunday (my Sunday spots are all filled up for a while) and closed Monday and Tuesday. Feel free to message if you have any questions!

Took Kramer to Canadian tire today to pick up paint for Lacey's shop. He approved of the colour we chose lol. We are finally almost done her shop and it's looking really good (we are going to post the final result once it's done)! Stay tuned for updates in the next couple of weeks for her availability!🐶😊🔨

Hey everyone quick update! Lacey is now booking weeks in advance so is NOT accepting anymore new clients. My (Lacey) shop is making great progress and should be ready mid July. Once my shop is done I will post my availability and will also be able to start taking new clients again. Thank you for all the glowing recommendations but I just have no more room for new clients right now and my regulars come first. 😊🩵🐶

Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder that we will be closed for vacation from May 23rd until June 2nd. During this time we are not responding to messages/calls. Lacey will be working Sunday June 2nd returning her messages/calls and Amy will be answering her messages/calls June 4th. We aren't ignoring you just enjoying some time off and will get back to you after our break. 😊🐶

Week 21: this is our last week for the funny farm posts and last but not least is our chickens. We thought we'd do 1 post for all of them because we have about 15 chickens and that would take a long time lol. All of our chickens are hens (girls) and we do not have any roosters (boys). They have been laying eggs like crazy lately and we have so many we don't know what to do with them all. Our chickens all like to stick together and if they are loose in the yard don't stray far from one another. Cole is our "chicken whisperer" as we've called him ever since we got chickens he's the only one that can catch whatever one we ask him to. This may be the last post for a bit but if we get a new animal (and that's very likely hahah) we will post again. 🤣🐔

Week 20: this week is beetlejuice our 4 year old Guinea fowl, he is a special little guy so deserves a post just for himself lol. If you are here with your dog and hear a very loud obnoxious squawking noise chances are it's him. He is an odd looking fella as his head is completely bald so we thought he looked like the shrunken head guy from beetlejuice and that's where his name comes from. Beetlejuice doesn't have many brain cells as we like to say and is probably the dumbest animal on the farm. All of us say he has anxiety because he can fly but gets anxious when he flys out of the pen and doesn't know how to fly back in and loveeeesss to tell the whole street when he gets separated from his chicken friends (even if they are 5ft in-front of him)🤦🏻‍♀️. 🐦

Week 19: next is Pippin who we got the same time as potato but they aren't related. He is also a registered mini silky fainting goat and has the complete opposite personality compared to potato. Pippin isn't as big on getting pets as potato but tolerates them lol. He also prefers to do his own thing and wanders the yard by himself because he couldn't care less if he is alone unlike potato and BB. Pippin hates being brushed when we bring the brush out there to brush him and his buddies he runs away and hides lol (but potato LOVES being brushed).

Hey everybody quick PSA! From May 23rd to June 2nd we will be off for vacation and will not be responding to messages or taking appointments. With that being said if you were looking to get in with either Lacey or Amy for this month (May) or beginning of June we ask to please call or message as spots are filling up quickly.

Lacey is still taking new clients but has very limited spaces left until her shop is done. Her shop is making progress and we are hoping to have her up and running this summer! 😊🐶

Week 18: this week is BB our 4 year old half Nigerian and half Pygmy goat. BB's name was Parker but Daniel couldn't remember that so he called him BB for "Brown Boy" so it stuck and that's his new name lol. He is potato's bestie and they are inseparable. When we leave them loose in yard when we are off they never leave each others side. BB does like being pet but isn't always begging for pets like Mr potato lol. He was also born right here on the farm and has been here ever since. If he were a fainting goat he would faint ALL THE TIME that little guys spooks at everything lol. 🐐

Week 15: next up is Potato aka Mr Potato head another fan favourite on the farm I mean just look at him🤣. Potato is a registered mini silky fainting goat, he is the sweetest man and also dumbest goat around lol. When we say fainting we mean he actually faints, but it doesn't last long and does not hurt him. They faint when they get startled but get up so fast we never get the whole thing on video. Potato is a special little goat and always has us wondering what's going on in that small brain of his. He loves licking Daniel's truck and just like licking Daniel hahah when he has the run of the yard when we have a day off, yes you read that right lol. Potato LOVESSS attention whether it's being pet or being brushed he adores it. He also loves having his picture taken. We love our Mr Potato head!🥔🙂

Week 14: this week is Archie he is our 21 year old Clydesdale cross and is about 15hh (hh means hands high and is how you measure a horse 1 hand is 4 inch's). He is my (Lacey's) horse and I'll try to keep this post short because he is my everything (I do have a tattoo of him soooo🤣). His name is a family name and I just thought it suited him so well and I loved the Archie comics🙂. Archie is the sweetest horse you'll meet and loves every person and animal he meets. He loves going up to the gate if he sees someone coming to give him some pets so feel free to say hello or even call him over if he isn't there and he'll come running. I've had Archie for 5 years and ride him almost everyday when the arena isn't snowed in lol. He loves getting boops on the nose and will stick his nose up if you point your finger at him as I boop him A LOT so he's used to it hahah. Archie's the best boy I could ask for and is what we call in the horse world my heart horse.😊🩵🐴

Week 13: next up is Bucky, he is our 6 year old mini horse and is a whopping 28" tall so he's pretty short for a mini horse. His name is also from Marvel movies and is based on Bucky Barnes who is captain Americas best friend. This little guy isn't scared of anything he will go right up to the tractor blocking the way when we bring hay for him and isn't bothered by scary tarps or weird things that's move (horse people humour lol). Bucky is definitely a quirky little guy and loves running and bucking around the arena but also loves doing little jumps now and again for some exercise. He spends most of his time either playing with his brother Murphy or having a real good snooze in the sun. Another one of Bucky's favourite things is getting right up close and personal with a camera (he loves a good nose shot).🤣🐴

Week 12: this week is the well known Murphy our 11 year old mini donkey. As most know Murphy has quite the personality lol. He is always braying (the sound donkeys make) at us when he sees us outside and begs for attention constantly. Murphy is your average donkey and is very very very stubborn and refuses to do anything that involves work lol. He is a familiar favourite amongst our clientele as he is always up for some pets so will come right up to the gate if you call him (most of the time). Murphy's name is from the movie Shrek because the character "donkey" is voiced by Eddie Murphy. His bestie is our mini horse Bucky who will be coming up in a post very soon and they loveee to play around in the pen annoying Lacey's horse Archie (will also be featured soon).

Week 11: next up is sugar and cupcake our 2 Holland lop bunnies. We thought we'd put them both in the same post as they share a hutch outside. These are the bunnies that greet you right near our shop door. Did you know that they are mother and daughter cupcake is the mom of sugar and sugar was born right on our farm. Cupcake is 5 years old and we got her as a baby and sugar is 3. They love snuggling up with each other and are quite bonded. Cupcake loves to try and escape and will rub on our hands as we are filling there food and water. Sugar is not as affectionate as her mother and runs away from us when we go to pet her lol.

Week 10: this week is Pluto our 6 year old jersey Woolley bunny. His bestie is Thor as they share a stall but are separated (pluto is in an x-pen in the stall) as male bunnies cannot be together like females can. Plutos name comes from the dog Pluto on Mickey Mouse clubhouse. He is Amy's bunny and that is her favourite Disney character (of course it's a dog😉). Also since Pluto is in barn nobody can go in to see him but same as Thor he will be outside again in the spring when the snow is gone. If the snow ever leaves lol.

Hey everyone quick post about my (Lacey's) availability! I now have NO MORE availability this month (March) and have limited spots left for April. My shop is in progress but it will still be a while before I'm up and running so I'm still only working on Sundays and Mondays. Week 9: We are now on to our outside animals! next up is Thor he is our almost 2 year old fuzzy lop bunny. He is probably our sassiest out of the 4 bunnies and he knows it. Lacey got him when she was living in Moncton doing her grooming course as an apartment buddy. Thor loved roaming around laceys apartment but once she moved back he adapted well to barn life. He loves to get in our way and run under our feet as we are walking around his stall and try's to escape any chance he gets. Thor is in our barn so you cannot see him but will probably be back outside once all the snow is gone and his hutch is ready. 😊🐰

Week 8: this week is Grimm he is a 8 year old bearded dragon. He is the sweetest little lizard out there and loves little head scratches. Anytime we say hello to him he will most likely be in his hammock and will tilt his head at us. Grimm also loves to watch movies with us when we have our Friday movie nights he also like to scratch at the glass as we are watching it lol. His favourite thing ever though is probably veggies the crunchier the better. Grimm also loves running around our tv/game room when cole cleans his cage and dogs are locked out.

Week 7: next up is chunk he is an almost 10 year old golden doodle. Chunk's favourite thing is also his mommy Amy and is constantly following her around the house. He also loves to "attack" any animals that pop up on tvs and will "chase" them across the screen. He loves having his alone time naps with his sister Betty as they are our senior dogs so enjoy when the younger ones have naps in separate rooms lol.

Week 6: next up is Kramer he is our 2 year French bulldog and is quite the handful lol. His favourite past time would probably be screaming at everything (as frenchies do lol). By that we mean he screams (not barks) any time he's excited whether it's going for a drive or if we are just opening a door to go in the other room🙃. Kramer is a very special little man as we say because he loves to chase lights in the house that are caused by reflections from the sun. He continuously bites at the walls trying to "catch" the lights but we always ask what his end goal is if he ever does catch these threatening lights🤣. All though he has his quirks Kramer loves his sister Carter, going to his agility classes and loves to go in Marshall's and pet value to pick out treats and toys. As shown in one of the pictures Kramer also has a signature pose that we like to call "teefs"🦷😂.

Week 5: this week is Carter she is our 7 year old American style basset hound. Her name is also from marvel movies and is based on captain Peggy Carter in the captain America movies. She is Daniel's dog she is probably one of the sweetest and goofiest pups you'll meet. Her favourite thing to do is to drop down right at our feet as we are walking and roll over making silly faces so we'll laugh at her and rub her belly. She also loves going out to do nightly barn chores and is trained off leash like all of our dogs. Carter also loves toys but if it has a squeaker in it she will tear it out and pop a hole in it but as we like to say "death to all squeakers" and she is usually very proud of herself after.😂🐶

Week 4: next up we have Betty who we have posted on our facebook before for her haircuts. Betty is Lacey's dog she is a 11 year old purebred Chinese crested powderpuff and hates being groomed (ironically😂). Her favourite thing in the whole world is probably her mommy (Lacey) and treats lol. Anytime I (Lacey) do anything Betty follows me around and will continuously stare at me. She is also known for chasing me and my mom as we go up or down stairs and bites at our ankles🤪. Most are surprised when we say she's a senior dog as she still acts and looks like a young dog and can run faster than her 2 year old brother Kramer lol.
