❗️FOSTER NEEDED❗️

We are currently seeking a foster home for Captain, a 6-year-old lab mix. Captain is incredibly friendly and gets along well with both cats and dogs. However, it is important to note that he does have a high level of anxiety and cannot be left alone. Therefore, he requires a foster home where someone is able to be with him at all times. It is also worth mentioning that Captain cannot be placed in a crate. If you are interested in providing a loving and secure environment for Captain, please reach out to us.

PRIVATE ADOPTION
Captain is really a sweet boy who deserves someone for the rest of his life. He would do well in an older person home environment, that has a same routine daily. And stays mostly at home.. He is high anxiety being home alone. He does not do well in kennels. I would recommend him being the only dog. He is great with cats. He is amazing with children, but with his anxiety I would recommend older kids. He loves his big comfy bed, he has multiple teddys.. It’s a must for him for his comfort. Congratulations to all the dogs who have been recently adopted! We are thrilled to hear that these wonderful canines have found their forever homes. This is truly a cause for celebration, as adoption is a life-changing event for both the dogs and their new families.

By opening their hearts and homes to these furry friends, these adopters have given these dogs a second chance at happiness.

Starting Monday October 21-27, the Bathurst Animal Shelter will be participating in the Miramichi PetSmart National Adoption Week (NAW). They always have several of our cats there in their Adoption Center, but NAW is special.

We'll have at least 10 kitties of all ages available for on-the-spot adoption with approved application. We'll post pictures of our fur-babies shortly.
