Did you know that orange tabby cats are almost always male? In fact, only around 20% of orange tabbies are female, making them quite rare.

Research indicates that the orange gene in cats is found on the X chromosome.

Since males are XY, and females are XX, males only need 1 copy of the orange gene (passed down from their mother only) to become an orange cat, while females need 2 copies of the orange gene (one from each parent), for them to be orange.

If you have a female orange cat, she is part of the 1 in 5 and is a special girl!

It's important to vaccinate puppies every 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks of age, that's 4 months oldπŸ₯³
πŸ”ΉοΈ
Getting your puppy vaccinated and keeping their vaccines up to date is very important πŸ“’ Vaccines help prevent diseases that your dog can get infected with.
πŸ”ΉοΈ
Talk to your vet about which vaccines are recommended for your dog, based on your dog's lifestyle and where you live!πŸ“

HEAT STROKE KILLS! Here is a video I made on what heat stroke is, how to prevent it, and what to do if your pet has heat stroke! This summer has been particularly hot, and I am sad to report that there has been an overwhelming number of pets that have become very sick or have died from heat stroke. Don't forget to like and share to spread the message!
