What an incredible year it has been!

2nd, to our boarders and everyone who supports and recommends us on a daily basis, along with our fantastic lesson programs, we appreciate your unwavering enthusiasm. Your recommendations have been instrumental in our success, and we eagerly anticipate many more!

3rd, we are thrilled to embark on 2025, eager to discover the remarkable accomplishments that await us!

Shadowlands Ranch is donating 2, 1 hour sessions as well so please keep the nominations coming!

Every year for Christmas, we donate 2 horse experiences to different families deserving of a special gift. We were a little bit delayed this year but here it is! We know the last few years have been challenging for many families, and everyone deserves Christmas cheer… Nominate a family or child that you believe is in need of a special gift to put under the tree for a loved one. We will offer a 1.5hr horse experience for 2 different deserving youth/adults, which will include time spent at our farm with the animals and a riding lesson. I will hand deliver certificates to two parties tomorrow within the Beaumont/Leduc/Sherwood park/South Edmonton area. Please share and get your nominations in before tomorrow evening🎄

Merry Christmas!!! Thank you to the coaches, boarders, lessors and lesson people that came out to celebrate Christmas at our in barn fun show and potluck dinner. It was such a fun day and we are so lucky to have you all at Shadowlands. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and can’t wait to see what next year brings!!!! (Mark your calendars for our Show series in 2025!!!! May 24/25, Aug 23/24 and Oct 4/5.) Please share your pics from the weekend! We’d love to see them.

Shadowlands is Hiring!

Looking for a new casual/part time barn hand to join our team!

We pride ourselves on exceptional care and have extensive feed programs for our horses, so looking for someone that shares those same values!

Evening/weekend shifts. Perfect for someone who wants to make a bit of extra cash.

Duties include:
Mucking stalls, feeding horses, prepping feed, giving meds, turn in/turn out, blanketing, general cleaning, checking horses, checking waterers, etc.

Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, have a working cell phone, horse experience and good communication skills. **Will be required to take equine first aid course if you don’t have it.**

This position is a few feed shifts per week (each shift is 2-3 hours) with the option to pick up other shifts if others need theirs covered.

You may bring a horse and work off some board, option to lease depending on the person or just a work position.

Located 5 minutes SE of Beaumont, AB

Sometimes when you’re not looking, you find the perfect ones… welcoming Sugar ❤️ been trialing this beautiful girl for the last two months to see if she would fit in for us. And she’s settled in so lovely. Her previous job was a ranch horse and then trail extraordinaire… she’s certainly lovely. Shes ridden western and just being introduced for English. And she is up for lease for flat rides only- so preference to someone for western dressage or just English pleasure. Suits for a leggy rider as she is a tall, thick girl herself. If you love big, blonde and pretty- come on out 🥰
